Willow sat there, her head against Xander's shoulder. "Buffy has to get better," Willow said. "She will right, Xander?" "I don't know," Xander said gravely. Werewolf Oz was sleeping in the library cage, having been shot by Angel. "How do we tell Oz that he killed someone?" Willow asked. "Everything's just a horrible mess," Xander said. The four of them (Willow, Xander, Angel, and Cordelia) went over to Ethan, who was chained up. "Let me guess," he said. "You want me to help you?" "No," Angel said. "You WILL help us and in exchange, I won't break your neck." "Angel, calm down," Cordelia said. "We're gonna get through this." "There's really only one way to help the Slayer," Ethan said. "We must cast a time travel spell to return to the past." "What if the same thing happens?" Angel asked. "You must figure out what triggered this specific timeline and prevent the incident from happening." "How are we supposed to know what that is?" Cordelia asked. "I have a pretty good idea," Willow said. "So, then we go back," Angel said. "Oz doesn't kill anyone, Buffy never gets amnesia," Xander said. "Do it," Angel said. Ethan began to chant. A big, swirling vortex formed around them. Willow was suddenly lying on top of a bruised, bloody Xander, kissing him until a voice sounded from the doorway. It said, "Oh God."
