Summer Lovin': When Bimbo's Ruled the House

Buffy sat in the house wondering what to do. Was she gonna fight for Angel and let Darla have Spike, would she pretend that she didn't know what was going on with her best friend and her boyfriend, or was she destined to be alone the whole summer? Then it hit her, Riley! He liked her, and he was cute and, unlike someone, avalible!

She jumped off the couch and went back outside. She walked to the divingboard and walked to the edge. It was about five feet above the 12 foot deep water,"Ah-hem."She cleared her throat and everyone looked at her,"I am going to perform a very special dive." She looked at Faith and Angel. Angel was watching her intently, and Faith rolled her eyes,"I will start off, with a front flip back tuck and come out in a regular dive. Something I learned being on the Sunnydale swim team and cheerleading squad."

Riley was looking at her eyes, not her body, but her eyes. She jumped and went like, two feet above the board, she did the front flip, back tuck dive. Everyone cheered,"Whoopde doo."Faith said and Buffy glared at her, shortly followed by Willow, Darla, and Dawn.

"Can you do better?"Buffy asked her.

She stood up,"Is that a challange?"

Buffy shrugged,"Maybe. If you're up for it."She smirked at her and Faith walked over to her.

"Battle of the Babes."Xander laughed and once again, Cordelia hit him on the arm.

"You're gonna wish youn ever hit on my boyfriend, B."She whispered.

"Can you say 'breath mint'? I'll kick your ass if I have to."

"Oh please. I can beat any barbie into the ground. Now watch and learn."She strutted over to the diving board and stood at the middle,"I will perform a spinning back flip front tuck spinning dive."All the girls rolled their eyes and she ran to the end then jumped. Nothing like she said it would be. She didn't even do the dive right, she did a belly flop. Everyone laughed and Angel went into the water with her.

Buffy swan over to Riley and jumped onto his back,"Guess who."She said coveringhis eyes.

"Hmm, could it be Buffy?"

"Yep."He swung her around so she was facing him.

"Miss Summers, I'm going to ask you a question."

"Shoot."She told him and he took a deep breath.

"will you go on a date with me?"He asked her.

"Hmm."She put a finger on her chin and looked at Angel and Faith. He was watching her,"Yes I will. When?"

"Tonight there's a party, everyone's going, but, you could be my date. Then, we could go out for ice cream or pizza."

"That'd be great."She kissed him softly and when she turned around, Angel looked pissed. Her plan was working.
