Writers Block: The Enemy Within: The Writer's New Groove...

Most of the ideas i've read so far seem like good ones, and I admit I've tried them all. A few months back, however, I hit a massively solid wall while writing a non-Buffy-related fic. The story just stopped dead. I left my hero naked in a forest sleeping agaist a tree. It was like I woke up and thought 'whoa, did I write this?' All of the usual methods failed me and the grass was very short for a long time while the story remained unfinished. Then I discovered the art of darkness. No not evil. Just sitting on my bed in complete darkness. Visualizing (as if in a movie theater) the last scene I had written of my story... and what comes next I prompted. From there on out the story flowed again. So try it! Hooked on darkness worked for me!
