Kate walks out of her room in a dressing gown, she looks at the clock and its 8:30am, then she walks slowly into the kitchen and boils the kettle.

After poring herself a cup of tea she’s about to sit down but the door bell goes. Kate has a strange look on her face as she puts her tea down, thinking who could that be a this time of the morning ?

She walks over and opens the door, there in front of her is a woman, and behind her is a man with his wife, Kate hears noise and laughter even behind them so she looks round the woman in front and sees a long line of people waiting for auditions.

Woman: So when do we get to come in ?

Kate looks terrified when she sees the line of people waiting to try and get the job. She then looks at the woman.

Kate: Ummm. . . . . . . .well there not supposed to start till 10, why is everyone hear now ?

The woman is quite large and not the tallest of people, she has curly, thick, red hair that comes down to her shoulders and looks about 45 years old.

Woman: To try and get the job first, I’ve been hear since 5am.

Kate looks shocked.

Kate: Ok . . . . . . Hold it right there.

Kate steps backwards smiling and slams the door.

Kate: GROO! . . . . . .KEVIN!

Act 1

The front door is wide open with the queue going all the way down the hall, Kate is in the office with a woman, Kevin is in the living sitting on the sofa with a man sitting in front of him and Groo has a man in front of him in the waiting area.

Kate is talking to the woman in the office.

Kate: Right lets get started, I’m Kate Lockley and you are ?

The woman Kate is talking to was the first in line.

Woman: I’m Jessica Kent, I’m 46 and a single mother.

Kate: Right do you have any experience in fighting ?

Jessica: No, but when I was little I used to play hero with my little sister.

Kate put her head in her hands in embarrassment.

Back in the living room Kevin is with a young black man with an afro and a baggy T-shirt and jeans.

Kevin: So why do you think you’ll be good working for us ?

Young man: well I do a lot of kick boxing, watch . . . . .

The man gets up and does 3 kicks in the air and on the forth one he falls and lands on his back.

Kevin: I’m sorry but you might be a bit too young for this.

Groo Is with a man and his wife.

Groo: Are you both applying together ?

Man: Yes we are yes.

Woman: We do everything together

They smile at each other.

Groo smiles and pretends to go along with what there saying.

Two hours later the queue is gone and Kate shuts the door.

Kate: Thank the lord for that!

Kevin: What a thrilling two hours.

Kate: Are you out of your mind! We went through about 28 people and not one has got a job!

Kevin: Well that blond was nice.

Kate: Please you only liked her because she’s an x prostitute from Las Vegas who said you look like Freddie Prince Junior.

Kevin: So she’s good at tracking.

Kate: What guys ?

Kevin just looks at her rolling his eyes.

Groo: All mine where nice but not right for this job!

Kate: Well all mine were bad apart from this one girl who was so nice, here have a look at this.

Kate hands them both the girls profile.

Kevin: Bethany Chalk, 27, works as a waitress at the moment. What’s she got that the others don’t ?

Kate: Look and the bottom of the page.

Groo leans over to look.

Groo: Telekinesis!

Kate: She was great, she told me about her past and that she really want to help people with problems because she’s sick to death with clearing up her own.

Kevin: So why did you turn her down ?

Kate: I didn’t, I said we need to think about it first.

Kevin: Well I think need to read up on telekinesis first, if there’s something she’s not telling us.

Kate: I agree, I know we don’t have any books here on that stuff so I suggest we both go to Library and Groo if you don’t mind ?

Groo: I will stay.

Kate and Kevin walk out.

Act 2

The camera swoops down from the roof into a shattered library, Kevin and Kate walk in through what was once two clean and unharmed double doors, the huge room is filled with wounded customers and firemen.

A woman approaches them.

Woman: I’m sorry but you will have to wait outside.

Kate: What happened here ?

Woman: We’re not sure, one minuet I was putting some books back on the shelf and the next and most powerful breeze went past me, the next thing I know is wakening up on the floor with hurt people and damaged books and stacks all around me.

Kevin: Is there anything we can do ?

Woman: you could give a hand to the firemen by picking up the books and lifting the stacks back up, I would really appreciate the help.

Kevin: We’ll start now.

Kate and Kevin walk away towards the ruined stacks. As they begin to start picking up books Kate spots Bethany holding a wet sponge to her head.

Kate: Bethany ?

Bethany: Oh Miss Lockley, I didn’t see you there.

Kate: Oh please, call me Kate.

Bethany: What are you doing down here.

Kevin and Kate look at each other. Kate ignores the question.

Kate: This is my brother Kevin. Kevin this is the woman I was telling you about.

Kevin: Hello Bethany.

Bethany: Well since we’re on first name bases I’m Beth.

Kate smiles at her.

Kate: So why are you here ?

Beth: Well I thought I saw a demon walk in here, so I followed it.

Kate: Wow you haven’t even got the job yet and your already tracking demons.

Beth: So you’ve talked then.

Kate: Well not really, but we’re getting there, maybe you could help us look for this thing ?

Beth: Oh I would love too, let me just put this sponge back and I’m with ya!

Back at the apartment Groo is sitting in the office with a glass of coke, he puts it down on the table and stands up, he’s about to walk away when he hears screaming coming from out on the street.

He looks out the window and sees people running away, he turns back to the table and the hole building begins to shake, his coke smashes onto the floor and all the windows are crushed inwards letting in huge gusts of wind.

He runs over to the window and sees the demon they thought they killed yesterday.

Groo’s eyes look shocked and he runs over to the phone and calls Kate.

Kate, Kevin and Bethany are walking out the Library when Kate’s mobile goes off. She picks it out of her pocket and answers it.

Kate: Hello ?

Groo: It’s alive.

Kate: Yeah, we got the memo.

------------Break------END OF ACT 2--------

Act 3
Groo: You got the memo ?

Kate: We’ve just walk out of a library that looks like its had a heard of elephants run through it.

Groo: So we didn’t kill it.

Kate: No, where is it now ?

Groo: Its heading to Marks Street.

Kate: Follow it and we’ll be there ASAP.

Kate hangs up and turns to Beth and Kevin.

Kate: We didn’t kill it.

Beth: Kill what ?

Kate: Well yesterday this demon . . . .

Beth: The one I saw ?

Kate: Yes . . . .We thought we killed it, it has the power of wind, it can send us flying right now and can also create tornados.

Beth: Oh, doesn’t sound fun.

Kevin: Are you sure you want to come with us ?

Beth: Well if I might have this job I can chicken out, plus I got my ability to help out!

Kevin smiles at Kate and all three of them run to meet Groo.

The camera moves though the city and catches Groo coming out of the apartment. He walks across the street.

Surprisingly there are no more screams, no sound at all.
He looks around him at a peaceful street.

Kate, Beth and Kevin run towards him.

Groo: Good you’re here, who’s this ?

Kate: Beth Groo, Groo Beth, the girl who I was telling you about.

Groo: it’s a pleasure to meet you.

Beth: Like-wise.

Kevin: So where is it.

Kate: Yeah its so quiet.

Groo: I don’t understand it was right here just. . . . .

At that moment a car comes flipping down the street and smacks into a flower shop.

Kevin: . . . . . a second ago.

All of them are shocked when the demon comes round the corner.

Demon: This time I will end all of you.

Kate: your wrong.

She runs at it and smacks it across the face. He smiles and kicks Kate across the street.

Kevin and Groo attack next, the demon stares at them and a gust of wind throws them up into the air and they land next to Beth’s feet.

Beth walks slowly backwards and the demon looks at the sky and mutters two words and right in front of it appears a tornado. The tornado spins faster and faster, it rips a part of and building and Kate, Groo and Kevin look up. Its falling onto them.

Beth ignores the tornado and looks at the falling piece of wall about to land on the injured Kate, Groo and Kevin. Beth closes her eyes, the piece of wall gets slower and slower, Beth opens her eyes and the bit of wall stops about two meters away from hitting them.

Kate, Groo and Kevin just look at Beth in relief.

Beth’s eyes move to the demon and the bit of wall fly’s at it.

But it just razes it’s fist and the wall breaks over its knuckles.

Kate and Groo get up.

Kate: What are we going to do.

Groo: I have an idea.

After a minuets of wispering to each other the demon gets board and starts to move the tornado towards Kevin, who is still lying on the floor.

Epilogue (conclusion)

Beth runs over too Kevin.

Beth: Come on you have to move.

Kevin: I can’t, I’ve twisted my ankle I think.

Beth: your bleeding too.

She pulls out a tissue and puts it on his cheek.

Kevin: Thank you.

Meanwhile the tornado is still moving towards them, Kate walks over to the demon.

Kate: Hay you.

The demon turns around.

Kate smacks it in the chest with a pipe from the fallen wall. The Groo run in and tackels it, the demon falls back into its own tornado.

Demon: This will never be over, I am just the first of four!

Kate: Whatever!

The demon is sucked into the tornado and shoot out the top into the sky, a few seconds later Kate looks round to see the demon fall to its death on the other side of the street.

Groo: Ummm, Kate, what about the tornado.

The tornado is still spinning but is head towards them.

Beth gets up and hold up her hand to it, the wind stops and the tornado freezes, then within seconds blows away into nothing.

Kate looks at Groo then back at Beth.

Kate: Your hired!
