The Killer In Me: The Next Victim

As soon as Buffy ran outside, she quickly went to Willow's house,

Then Cordy's, then Darla's but no one was home.

Not even the guys. She knew time was already running out

until the killer was beginning to go after his next victim which

could be anyone her friends for all she knows.

Where the hell could they be? Then a though hit her.
Sunnydale High.

Without wasting a minute, Buffy held on to the baseball

bat while she ran through Revello Drive, heading towards the school before it was too late.

Before someone she loves will become like Spike was. Dead and gone forever.

A shadow loomed ahead of her, making her feet stop suddenly as

she hid behind a large oak tree, careful not to make any kind of sound.

She saw that the black shadow was moving forward to where she was and quickly,

Buffy panted, her heart rate picking up, hoping and praying

that it wasn't the killer walking towards her hiding spot.

She grasped her baseball bat tightly just as she was about to

swing at the killer, only that the killer was none other than a black stray cat, looking for food.

Buffy took a deep breath, dropping the bat, relieved that it wasn't the killer that was trying to kill her.

"you stupid cat you scared the hell outta me," she murmured

then she heard a loud sound, almost like police sirens.

She knew that she had to hurry before something bad was gonna happen.

while she ran she saw two police cars turning to the right of Revello Drive.

"They're heading for the school," Buffy murmured, seeming to

forget how tired her legs were from all that running and then quickly sped off.

She knew in her gut that something bad had already happened.

She hoped that it wasn't another of her dearest friends that got offed.

Within minutes, she entered the high school heading towards the

library when she saw yellow police taped in front of the double doors,

cops questioning any witnesses as to what had happened.

She saw her friends then ran up to meet them.

"What the hell just happened?" Buffy snapped.

Willow was crying, but not Cordy or Darla one bit.

"That stupid slut of a bitch Faith. The killer offed her. There was

so much blood everywhere I.. I...couldn't believe it," Darla said,

not even looking remorseful of Faith only what she had saw.

Cordelia didn't look too upset either.

"Well. she deserved what she got. That bitch," Cordy replied coldly, surprising Buffy.

On one hand she was glad that not another of her closest friends

were killed but on the other hand it was a person. Just someone she didn't like at all.

"Where's the guys?"

"Getting some coffee.

They didn't find the killer. All they found was a knife covered in blood.

Can you believe that? All this time and not even no one is arrested.

The killer is still out there.And apparently, there were no witnesses either.

Faith was alone when the killer got her," Willow said sadly.

Drusilla and Harmony looked on at them, hatred and anger crossed their faces.

"I bet one of you got her killed. You stupid bitches. You'll gonna pay for this," Drusilla spat.

Cordy, Darla, Buffy, and Willow looked on at the two girls, snarling.

"You stupid dumbasses. We didn't kill her," Buffy snapped, ready to fight Drusilla or Harmony.

Still being emotional over what happened to Spike made her feel edgy and angry.

Buffy went and punched Dru in the face so hard.

A bruise immediately began to form on her jaw.

"You bitch! You'll pay for that," Dru snarled. Her and Harmony turned

and walked away while many spectators saw what had happened.

they were all so exhausted, then went to talk to the cops, wanting to see what else had happen.

The killer was still out there.

The killer or killers was standing outside in the school courtyard,

hiding out so the cops woudln't see them.

"How about that? Didn't I done a great job or what?" one of them said gleefully.

"yes you did. I'm proud of you," the other one said.

"What do we do now?"

"We wait and then when the time comes. We kill them off one

by one like we did to that stupid blonde spiked boyfriend.

But make sure that none of them are my daughters before you kill them.

One of them is my flesh and blood."

"You got it boss. Two down, six more to go."
The second killer laughed,

obviously enjoying what he had done to the dark haired girl. The one called Faith.

"It is so much fun to kill. why didn't I do this a long time ago?"

The two killers laughed evilly, then turned and walked away, ready to pounce and kill their next victim....
