The Killer In Me: Home Sweet Home

Buffy, Spike, Angel, Willow, Oz, and Darla entered Darla's house somberly, not liking the coldness and darkness vibes it was giving off.
The whole neighborhood looked pitch black. Not even the street lamps were on.
The girls were frightened, shivering and hovering together when they heard a fierce scream piercing the night air. They recognized the voice.
"Oh my God. That sounded like Cordelia," Darla whimpered, hugging Angel closely to her.
"I think that was her. you guys stay here, I'll go help her," replied Buffy, grabbing a large branch that landed near her foot.
"I don't think its a good idea to go there alone, luv. The killer could be there attacking her," Spike warned.
"I don't care Spike. For once I don't want you to protect me!" Buffy snarled, snatching her arm away from Spike.
Quickly she took off, the Full moon guiding her way as instinct told her to make a quick left turn.
She stopped and then quickly saw what was happening.
The killer was dressed in black, laying on top of Cordelia when she tried to push him off of her but he was too strong.
Out of nowhere, he pulled a large kitchen knife from under his jacket and almost pummeled Cordelia with it until Buffy kicked him in the face violently, pushing him off of Cordelia.
"Don' you dare touch my friend you bastard. If you do I'll kill you myself!" Buffy snarled, her hands clenched into fists as she pulled her friend up.
"Are you okay Cordy?" she asked gently, searching for any wounds or cuts.
"Yeah," she shivered," the bastard almost tried to kill me. I think we should call the police. I don't think no one in Sunnydale is safe. Not even us."
"Yeah we should," Buffy cut off her reply, noticing too late that the killer was already gone. He was fast. "That asshole is gone.
Damn it. We better go catch up to the others. We're not gonna let him get away with this. I promise."
Cordy and Buffy ran up with the others but instead of going inside, they were walking straight to the police station.
They had to inform the cops and the citizens of Sunnydale that no one was safe....
