The Killer In Me: The Killer's Inside

Spike and Buffy went inside her house, fear blossoming on Buffy's pretty features when they both jumped on their feet.

Loud, thumping noises like heavy footsteps were pounding on the second floor, loud enough to shake Buffy to the bones.

She stood behind Spike, her body shivering with goosebumps.

"He's upstairs," she whispered to him in a frightful voice. She couldn't help grabbing his hand strongly.

"Don't worry pet. It's alright. I'll go get the baseball bat. Wait here and keep your eyes open," Spike cautioned while he went to the kitchen to get the aluminum baseball bat.

Buffy wrapped her arms around herself when she heard a loud crash upstairs.

She slowly walked by the stairs only then that she saw the heavy dark boots that the killer wore.

She quickly panicked as she looked around for a weapon,

any kind of weapon when she heard the heavy footsteps coming down the stairs.

Hais were rising on Buffy's arms as she held the poker that was place by the couch when she quietly hid behind the wall,

heart pumping loudly against her chest.

He's here, Buffy thought panicking. "Spike, he's here!" was all Buffy could get out before the killer placed his strong hand around her neck, trying to choke the life out of her.....
