Revelations II: Making Things Right and Better: Revelations II: Making Things Right and Better
by Willow and Buffy
Ok,we haven't posted a fan fic in a long time because we ahve so many right now that we are trying to totally say are 100 percent perfect, so for now we did this one. It does have something at the end that should teach lessons, but not many(if ANY!)of the other stories are like that. We are not Sarah Michelle Gellar or Alyson Hannigan. We are just two girls that are best friends who's names really are Buffy and Willow. We don't own Buffy & Co.,Joss Whedon,The WB,and Mutant Enemy do. We don't own the music mentioned either. The artist does. We just simply used it for a non profit story. This takes place after Revelations, because we wanted there to be a happy ending and to tell people it didn't always have to end that way. It could end in positive ways. So read on!

Buffy walked into her room. It had hurt to leave Angel like that but she knew she had to. It couldn't be anything though, and even though deep in her heart she wanted it to be she wouldn't let it because she knew it was too hard and dangerous. She sank down on her bed and turned on her stereo. Matthew Sweet's Everything Changes came pouring out and the song made Buffy want to cry. Everything did change. Too fast for her,and personally it made her dizzy. Everything was going so fast it literally made Buffy want to hurl. The worst part was that there was nothing on the side to grab onto to slow down.
She quickly changed the station and stopped as Xscape's My Little Secret played. She liked this song, but lately it reminded her of Xander and Willow, and how poor Oz and Cordelia had been caught in the middle. She changed the station again, and Lately was on. This song even had to do with the situation! In frustration, Buffy grabbed her Jewel CDs from the floor. She popped in Pieces Of You and set the other one aside along with the other empty case. Then put on track 13. For some reason she was drawn to this song. When it started she remembered why. It had been her and Angel's song. But now she was too tired to change it. She grabbed a pillow from her floor and snuggled into a comfortable ball on her blanket by her pillows.
Then suddenly something clicked. The whole song thing was like immitating real life. Everything was changing, the love triangle, how she constantly thought about Angel, and how Angel still wanted to be there for her and she still wanted him to be there. But she couldn't change it. After the song finished she turned it off. She closed her eyes and dozed off.

Across town, Cordelia was mad. She wanted to go home to her room but they had told her not for another week. Any wrong moves could tear the tissue. Faboo! She got to sit there in her room, eating gross jello all day and drinking apple juice. It was definetely not the royal Princess American Express treatment. No matter how she pleaded for a different room they ignored her. She hated this room. It had two windows so the outside world got in more than she wanted, and sometimes she could even see Xander's house, and Willow's, and even Buffy's. It was horrible. She would try to move and immediately she was held down by nurses and told not to, or sometimes it would just hurt too much to move. Why did it have to be her? Why couldn't it just be Buffy? She was the slayer. It was HER sacred duty to get hurt and other weird stuff. Cordelia growled. Buffy! It was all her fault Xander was no longer hers. After her 3 years of encouraging Willow to go for it it had happened. She had angry thoughts about Buffy everyday now! She had stopped by to see her after she had heard about the accident, but she had pretended to be asleep. Buffy had dropped off a small card w/a white teddy bear and a small vase of sunflowers. Sunflowers? Ha! Cordelia couldn't stand sunflowers. The card had said "Just thought you could use a little sunshine! Love ya like a sis! Buffy". She wanted to give her sunshine? Well she could just stay away from her if that was all she wanted to do. That was plenty sunshine right there. Cordelia didn't want her around anymore! It was her fault she had lost her boyfriend anyway! She had had the flowers moved so she wouldn't look at them anymore or have to for that matter, and the teddy bear sat close to the bed. She kept it there in case she wanted to beat something around. The card had been thrown out. She obviously could care less about Buffy.
But where were all these bitter thoughts coming from? She knew where. She resented Buffy. She could tell Xander still wanted her. And it made her mad,REAL mad! And if that wasn't bad enough, she was trying to have him get over her by encouraging Willow to date him. WHY?? Why couldn't she have just told her instead, and left Willow w/Oz? It just didn't make sense at all. Buffy was a relationship wrecker. Maybe she was doing this as her way to get back at everyone. Because Scott had dumped her and this whole series w/Angel. It was like it was her silent way of saying F**k you to the world! Because she wasn't happy she didn't want anyone else to be. Why that conniving little twit!!! She just wanted to rip her apart. But she wouldn't. She knew better. She would end up w/so many bruises and her nose would be a nightmare. Way more than plastic surgery could fix. She sighed. Could she ever catch a break?

Buffy awoke. She had been dreaming about Angel. But this dream had felt so real. He had let her drink him in, and she could smell him, and his lips had felt so real against hers. But it was all an illusion and she knew it. It was pointless. She stood up and stretched her body out, then started downstairs. Her mother was in the living room, hacking away at a laptop. She looked up. Only a brief glance though. She gestured towards the door. On the door was a yellow post it note. Buffy walked over and glanced at it. Her mom had known she was sleeping. Willow had called and she ahd already eaten. No big. She tossed the post it into the waste basket near the front door and walked outside. She walked to Willow's. She decided talking in person was better than the phone, and probably more private too. She stopped and knocked on the door.
Willow answered. She had her usual cheery face on. She was happy, and Buffy could tell. Obviously she had done something. Something good. Without a word she grabbed Buffy's arm and dragged her into the house and upstairs to her room. As soon as the door was shut and locked she plopped down on her bed and picked up her lion, and tossed it carelessly across her lap.
Willow took a deep breath and then opened her mouth. It was like she was ready to speak but had forgotten the words. Finally she pulled her closer and whispered her discovery.

Xander was feeling so low. He had cheated on his gf, and had hurt everyone else. Oz wanted to kill him, Cordy sided w/Oz, Willow was afraid of him, and now Buffy wouldn't speak to him. This was so depressing. Why wasn't anyone considering how he felt? He was important too. But noone cared at all. No one gave a damn! He punched the wall and quickly pulled his hand back, massaging the knuckles that lay in front of him, ragged and bleeding now. Great, that was just what he needed to make his day! He wanted to scream, or maybe hurt something,or maybe someone. But who? It didn't make sense to hurt someone or scream. It wouldn't solve anything. It would just make matters worse. He just wanted Cordelia now. They're relationship was cute to an observer, Xander was the one who cried on COrdy's shoulder instead of vice versa. But now where would he mope? His room? His parents? Why couldn't they teach you this important stuff in school????

Buffy grinned from ear to ear. Willow was so smart at times. She was kinda glad about the whole Oz thing now. She stood outside the garden w/Willow at her side. "Ok,you wait for me to wave you on."she said as she stepped into the building.
Angel glanced over quickly, and his face softened. He was glad to see her. He had missed her. And she was smiling. He couldn't help but smile back. Buffy sat next to him. "Let's talk. Willow has had so much free time lately Angel, and she found a spell that can restore a soul permanently. If you say yes we'll do it. Then we can be together." she said looking deep into his eyes. Angel looked back at her. He trusted her. He hoped she knew what she was talking about, because he so desperately wanted to kiss her and be with her. "Are you sure?"He asked, just to be sure. She nodded. It was all he needed. He placed his hand in hers. "Then I'm in." he said.
Buffy smiled. She loved him so much. She waved Willow in. Willow began to create a circle w/some weird smelling herb that Buffy couldn't pronounce if her grade counted on it! Willow began to chant, and Angel sat frozen, concentrating on what she was saying. The herbs began to crackle and catch on fire. The fire rose high around Angel. Willow ran her hand through it. It didn't hurt at all. The flame reached the ceiling and then immediately disappeared. Angel was left all by himself, but he appeared to be going postal. He was twitching, then he suddenly stopped. He felt all tingly, and slowly the tingle faded. It had worked.
Willow smiled. She was proud of herself, and for some reason, she was proud of Buffy and Angel too. She felt so happy. She suddenly felt lightheaded, but she was alright. The feeling went away. She gathered up her things. "I should go."she said as she left. Buffy looked at Angel. "I should probably go too. But I'll be back by later." Then she kissed him tenderly on his lips and walked out.
But she didn't go home. She went to the hospital and walked straight to Cordelia's room. But Cordelia was SLEEPING again. Buffy sighed. "Cordy, you can't fool me."she said. "In fact,I just wanted to tell you that I didn't encourage Willow to go for Xander. I told her to get over him and stick with Oz. I swear. I know you don'twant to see me,so I'll leave." She turned to go. "WAIT!"Cordelia yelled.
Buffy paused in the doorway. "Thanks for finally teling me."Cordelia said. "I want to apologize. For treating you so horribly, and forgetting that you're my friend and would never do anything like that to me. I was wrong. And I want to be friends again. Tell Xander I'm sorry, and tell Willow that I want her to come see me as soon as possible so I can tell her. Tell Oz that I never had anything against him anyway."
Buffy nodded and walked out. She told Willow. Willow felt much better. Maybe things did change, but at least sometimes you could make them right if they changed for worse. She didn't know what would become of her,Xander,or Oz,but all that mattered was that right now Cordelia could forgive her. That they had a chance to go back and make it what it should have been the first time. And she felt better knowing she had made Buffy happy, and knowing that Angel was safe again. Everything lightened Willow's mood.
Buffy definetely related,as she returned home to her mother. She had been able to solve a few problems, but in life we can't rush things. We have to solve what we can when we can. Like that corny saying about lemons and lemonade. But it takes more than just lemons to make lemonade,it takes sugar and water too. Life is like that. It takes more than a Sorry to fix hurt feelings and mend broken hearts. Sometimes it takes a little more effort. And it's just something we all have to accept. We all can learn from our mistakes, and we can also run from them. But running eventually can make you tired, and they will catch up with you again. Sometimes you can get wraped up in it,and sometimes it can blow up in your face but the important thing is that at least you attempted it. Don't put off tomorrow what you can do in a day. Remember it takes more than lemons to make lemonade. Something we all know. But at least you can do it before it's too late. If you don't attempt to fix it it can get worse. So just remember, sometimes the answer to a conflict is just a best friend away. So when you're missing the sugar and water to make the lemonade, get a friend and solve the problem if it takes more than one to solve it. Sometimes you can get by on your own,but if not at least there are people who care who can almost always help you. So don't just ignore it until it's too late. You never know what's at stake! At least Buffy and Cordelia were able to maintain a friendship after they tried. And eventually the rest will work out.I mean hey, Buffy got Angel back finally(at least in our fan fic)! Just remember your friends.
