A Different Note: Chapter One

She fell to the floor crying. He sat next to her and held her. “I’m so sorry” he said over and over again. “I’m sorry for all the pain I’ve caused you” he said staring at her tear stained face.
”I’m gonna make this up to you” he said sniffling and wiping the tears from his face. “Id do anything for you” he said getting up. “Where are you going” she asked? “To fix it” he barely said above a whisper and opened the door. “Wait” she pleaded standing up. He walked down the stairs and was about to open the front door when he heard buffy say, “please stop”.
”Yeah luv” he said turning around to face her. She was standing one the bottom step staring at him. “Ill be back luv I promise” he said as he stared into those beautiful eyes of hers. He walked up to her. “I don’t know if I can make it without you” she said. “Buffy you can do anything and everything without me” he said grabbing her hand. “I’m gonna miss you so much Buffy” he said pulling her into a hug. She played with the nape of his neck while he stroked her lower back. “I don’t want you to go” she whispered in his ear. This brought him to tears and he breathed in her scent one last time. “I love you,” he said letting her go and rushing out the door. She was in tears. They always leave me she sobbed but something in her gut made her think he would be back. She missed him already she thought going up the stairs.
