Buffy was still lying there with her eyes open when Angel finally turned out the light,"I know you're not asleep."He said aloud.

"What?"Bufy rolled over and looked at him.

"Believe me. I know more about you than you think."He laughed a little and she sat up and turned on the light.

"Tell me then. What do you know about me?"Buffy sounded annoyed. How dare he think that he knows so much about her.

"Well, I know that ever since the second grade you've been in the church choir and ever since the fourth grade you've been the lead singer. I've been in every single class that you had since kindergarden. Your favorite movie is A Walk to Remember. I gave you the Jesus is my homeboy T-shirt for your birthday last year. Connor Davis has been in love with you ever since kindergarden. You always take your cross necklace off at night and put it on your clock and I know you reread the passage that your father read at church every night." He smiled, proud of himself and Buffy did too. She didn't think that he knew so much about her.

"Impressive. Okat then. I'm going to read then go to bed. But don't think I don't know a lot about you because I do."

"Inlighten me."He challenged.

"Okay, you and Cordielia Chase have been dating since third grade. Your full name is Liam "Angel" James O' Connor. You're exactly three months older than me. You have a half brother who lives in Ohio whos name is Oliver Harris. For your birthday I bought you a bible that you keep in the top drawer of your nightstand and read twice a month. Your favorite movie is Scary Movie 2 or American Pie. And Harmoney Kendall and Darla McKennely are in love with you. Happy?" She asked.

"Impressed."He replied.

Buffy opened up her bible and read. After putting it up, she stared at the closet door,"Do you think that this was fate?"She asked him.

"Fate? Is that like some religious thing?"

"No, it's like...something that was meant to happen."

"Oh. Maybe."

"Will you promise me something?"

"Depends. I'm not dating you."

"I wasn't going to ask that."

"What were you going to ask me then?"

"Promise, promise not to fall in love with me." She looked him right in the eye.

"Really not a problem."

"Goodnight."

"Goodnight."

Buffy turned off her light, and Angel turned off his light. They both stayed up all night thinking then finally drifted off to sleep.

"Hi Angel."Buffy walked past Angel and smiled.

"Hey. Listen, Buffy. I was thinking about last night. How we talked and everything. Well, I think...I--I--"

"What is it?"

"I'm in love with you."

"Really? I'm in love with you?"

Angel grabbed onto Buffy and they kissed so passionatly, it was a better kiss than any kiss he ever had with Cordielia.

Angel's eyes shot open and he looked around. He was still in the room with Buffy and she was sound asleep. She looked amazing. He was in love,"So much for my promise."
