Nightmare In Sunnydale: Part Two

"He's here! Quick you've got to get out of here! Wake up!" And with that Nancy touched Buffy's forehead as she dissolved into thin air. Buffy awoke on the bed of the motel. And ran to the phone she had to warn her friends.

If it wasn't too late already.

Willow, Xander, Cordelia and Giles were hard at work going through volumes on Demonology. (Well actually Willow, Xander and Giles were hard at work on the books Cordelia was hard at work on her nails.) "This is hopeless we are never going to find anything on Mrs. Johnson or Springwood." Xander said as he got up to stretch.

"Well I for one am going home I mean can't this wait until morning." Cordelia asked.

"Ah yes that's a good idea we all could use some rest." Giles stated as he closed the book he was looking at. Meanwhile Willow was still glued to the computer, typing frantically. When the phone rang, startling them all, Giles picked up the phone.

"Hello."

"Giles this is Buffy."

"Buffy where on earth have you been?" Giles asked trying to contain his excitement.

"Look Giles there's no time you've got to tell Willow, Xander and Cordleia not to fall asleep."

"Okay Buffy but why?"

"I'm not quite sure yet but trust me don't go to sleep." Then there was loud static on the phone.

"Buffy, Buffy, hello are you there?" Giles asked, then just a dial tone.

"Umm Buffy wants us all to stay awake." Giles said as he hung up the phone.

"Why?" Cordelia asked.

"I'm not sure why but I think it's best to do what she says for the time being." Giles replied.

"I think I've found something!" Willow finally said as they all gathered around the computer.

"Look I've found the town records of Springwood, and there's something not right."

"What a bunch of death notices ooo big deal." Cordelia said flatly.

"Well yeah they are death notices but look, all these deaths happened in an eight-year time frame, and all of them are kids."

"Interesting and all died of unexplained causes, umm what's that?" Giles asked, pointing to some blue text on the screen.

"Oh that's a link to another part of the web page." Willow replied.

"Could you go there?" Asked Giles.

"Sure." Willow said clicking on the highlighted text. When the page came up, it was all news paper clippings of all the kids deaths.

"Can you print these articles Willow?" Giles asked.

"Sure but it'll take some time, I'll have to go down to the computer lab and get a printer tomorrow." Willow replied.

"Um yes okay I think we've done all we can tonight, lets meet back here tomorrow morning and see if we can piece this together somehow." Giles stated.

"Great idea Willow, Cordelia I think it best that we stay together tonight that way if anything happens we'll be there to help." Xander said gathering up his books.

"Yes that's a splendid idea; you all have my number if you need anything?" Giles asked.

"I have it." Willow replied.

"Very good and remember don't try anything until we know more." Giles reminded them.

Willow, Cordelia, and Xander were all sitting around Cordelia's living room playing Monopoly.

"It sure was lucky your parents are out of town this week Cordelia." Willow said, as she moved around the board.

"Luck had nothing to do with it. They're always away so I hardly ever see them." cordelia stated flatly.

"Oh" Willow replied.

"It's okay I really don't mind, after all I get a lot more freedom this way." Cordelia said as the doorbell rang. "Who could that be?" Willow asked. When Cordelia opened the door Oz was standing there.

"Hi Cordelia, is Willow here?" He asked.

"Yes she is Oz, what do you want?" Cordelia asked sharply.

"I'd like to see her I didn't see her at school today, and her mom said she was here and."

"Just come in before someone sees you." Cordelia said as she led him into living room.

"Willow someone's here to see you." Cordelia announced.

"Hi Oz!" Willow said as she got up from the floor and gave him a hug.

"Willow, is everything okay? I didn't see you in class, or around school all day." Oz said with genuine concern.

"Well we all have been helping Giles with something in the library today."

"Did you hear what happened in the lunchroom?"

"Hear about it, I saw it!" Remarked Xander. "And let me tell you it's an image I'd just as soon forget about."

"So what were you working on in the library today?" Oz asked. Willow Cordelia and Xander just looked at each other.

"Oh just cataloguing some books, you know stuff like that." Willow replied.

"Willow what's really going on?, come on I already know about the slayer stuff, you can tell me." Oz said, noticing the bandage on Willow's arm.

"And what happened to your arm?" Willow looked at Xander who just shrugged.

"Oh for gods sake Oz, we don't know what's going on yet Buffy's on her way back, Mrs. Johnson's in a coma, and Giles doesn't want us to sleep. There that wasn't so hard." Cordelia said crossing her arms.

"Well that about sums it up." Xander said.

"Who's Mrs. Johnson and why doesn't Giles want you to sleep?" Asked Oz still utterly confused.

"Giles doesn't know what we're dealing with yet and Mrs. Johnson is a new teacher, she was attacked last night." Willow said.

"Vampires?"

"No Oz, something else." Willow said.

Meanwhile Giles walked through the hospital looking for Alice's room. When he found it there were Two policemen outside the door.

"Who are you?" One asked.

"I'm Rupert Giles I'm a friend of Mrs. Johnson's'." Giles said. The guards let him pass. As he walked into the room Alice was lying in the bed, her face was twitching like she was having a horrible dream.

"Curious" thought Giles as he pulled a chair up to the side of the bed. When he sat down he couldn't help to feel pity for the young woman.

"What's going on Alice?" He whispered as he looked at the restraining straps. Giles got up and walked out the door to the nurse's desk.

"I'd like to speak to a Doctor please."

"What is this concerning?" The nurse said never looking up from her papers.

"Alice Johnson, I'm a friend of her Family could you please get me a doctor." Giles stated looking down the Hall.

"Just a moment." The Nurse said as she picked up the phone.

"Doctor Goldman there's a man here to see you. Okay. Sir, Doctor Goldman will be with you in a couple of minutes." The nurse said as she hung up the phone.

"Thank you." Giles said relived that the doctor would see him. When Doctor Goldman finally came out Giles stood up.

"Are you the person inquiring about Alice Johnson?" The doctor said.

Giles looked at the doctor his face belied his young age, and his eyes, he looked as if he had been through something extremely traumatic.

"Yes I am, I was wondering why she is in restraints?"

Dr. Goldman looked at Giles; "they are for her own safety." Dr. Goldman replied.

"Why would a coma patient need to be restrained?" Giles asked.

"Sir I think we should talk about this in my office if you'll follow me? Mr. Ah."

"Giles, Rupert Giles." Giles replied.

"Yes-well Mr. Giles please follow me."

When Giles entered his office and looked around there were all sorts of dolls of different origins and several native American dream catchers on the walls along with a picture of an old stone mausoleum with two figures by the door, wrapping around them were three snakelike creatures with skull like heads.

"Interesting painting, what is it?" Giles asked.

"Oh those are ancient dream demons, Supposedly they travel the earth looking for the most vile, corrupt, and evil individual. When they find that person they offer them the ability to travel the dream world, killing people in their dreams." Dr. Goldman said as he sat down.

"Wherever did you find a painting like this?" Giles asked.

"It was given to me by a colleague, He used to work at this youth center. He's doing groundbreaking research in dream therapy." Dr. Goldman replied.

"Yes very interesting." Giles said. " Please have a seat Mr. Giles." As Giles sat down he noticed a picture on Dr. Goldman's desk. It was of a young woman with long black hair with a gray streak running down the right side. Also there was a folder marked Springwood lying on his desk.

"About Mrs. Johnson, Dr. I think restraints are a little unnecessary on a coma Patient. Isn't it Dr.?" "Well Mr. Giles the restraints are for her own protection, you see she's been having seizures of some sort. I think she's having extremely violent nightmares. The restraints are keeping from injuring herself." Dr Goldman replied.

"Yes well I understand now thank you Dr. Goldman." Giles said as he started to stand "Oh and those are interesting dream dolls you have Dr. Goldman." Dr. Goldman stood up.

"You know about dream dolls?" Dr. Goldman asked.

"Well cultural Mythology is a hobby of mine I just recognized them that's all." Giles replied.

"Oh they are interesting aren't they? Like this one for instance." Dr. Goldman reached for one of the dolls this one was beside a paper mache house.

"This one is my favorite it's a Tibetan dream guardian he supposedly protects the dreamer from nightmares. It was given to me by an old friend of mine." Dr. Goldman said staring at the little doll.

"What about the house?" Giles asked.

"Oh that it was made by a patient of mine; she was having nightmares about it. So she constructed it for me." Dr. Goldman seemed to be staring off into space.

"So she's been cured from her dreams?" Giles asked.

"In a matter of speaking she passed away a few years back." Dr. Goldman said his voice full of regret.

"I'm sorry I didn't." Giles said stunned.

"Oh she was a good kid Nancy and I tried to help them, but " just then Dr. Goldman stopped himself.

"Well if you'll excuse me Mr. Giles I have to make my rounds." "Yes of course, thank you for talking to me." Giles said as he left. When Giles was gone doctor Goldman closed the door.

"Oh God please don't let it happen here" he thought. As he put the doll back in front of the house, The house from Elm street.

Back at Cordelia's house, Willow, Oz, Cordelia, and Xander were watching an old movie and all of them were having a hard time staying awake. It was midnight and they were all very tried after the events of day.

"This bites I need some sleep." Cordelia said as she stretched.

"No we'd better not Giles told us not to." Xander said yawning. "He's probably asleep right now." Cordelia said stretching out on the sofa. Oz came back from the kitchen holding a pot of coffee.

"This should help" Oz said as he poured them all a cup of coffee.

"I wonder what Giles is doing to stay awake." Willow said sipping her coffee.

"Probably nothing he's probably fast asleep by now." Cordelia stated as she turned off the TV.

Doctor Goldman was making his rounds. When he turned the corner he saw a huge metal door, It was rusted blackened with age.

"What in the world?" he thought as he pushed it open. As he stepped through the door he found himself in an old junkyard.

"This can't be happening." He thought as he turned around and saw that the door had disappeared.

"Oh god!" He thought as he started to walk through the yard when he found himself in a cul-de-sac made up of cars. In the center of it there was an open pit.

"He's dead, he can't come back." The doctor thought as he looked in the hole. He looked down and there were skeletal remains of a human at the bottom of the hole. The doctor turned around to start walking when he heard a noise. It sounded like Bones being thrown together. The doctor turned around and was hit in the jaw by a shovel throwing him to the ground. The skeleton in the hole had jumped out and was standing above him.

It was then he heard the laugh, deep and full of menace. The skeleton raised it arms and the internal organs started to take shape, then muscle started to form around the bones followed by burnt skin.

"Kreuger you're dead!" The doctor screamed as he got up and started running. Just then the car lights started to come on and their horns started blaring. As the doctor kept running the cars started to cut off his path by sliding in front of him. Until he was completely surrounded by cars. Freddy appeared from behind the cars.

"Oh doctor you didn't actually think you'd run forever did you?" Freddy said as he approached him.

"What do you want?" The doctor said his voice full of fear.

"Time for a little check up doc!" Freddy growled as he grabbed the doctor.

"Let's check that heart of yours Doc!" Freddy exclaimed as he drove his glove deep inside the doctors chest. Dr. Goldman wheezed and coughed as Freddy threw him to the ground. "You failed Doc." Freddy laughed as the doctor fell limp.

Back in Doctor Goldman's office he wheezed and gasped falling out of his chair onto the floor. He quickly scribbled something on a piece of paper. His last thought was "at least Nancy and I could be together again."

Giles was at home reading when He heard a noise upstairs. Giles got up and started up stairs. When he got upstairs he saw a light coming from under his bedroom door. Slowly he approached the door, when he got to the door he slowly opened it.

He looked inside and Gasped, On his bed was Mrs. Calender her back was to Giles "Hello Rupert." Mrs. Calendar said. As her head rolled to one side. She turned around and her face was decomposing, maggots crawling inside her mouth, one eyesocket, was empty and head worms oozing out of it. Giles recoiled in horror. When Freddy appeared beside her.

"She's so pretty isn't she?" He cackled. Giles slowly backed out of the room. As he left the room the door slammed shut.

Giles wasn't in his house anymore but in an old boiler room. As he looked around he saw Alice suspended from the wall.

"Mrs. Johnson!" Giles replied as he ran over to her. "You've got to get out of here; He'll kill you." Alice said. As Freddy appeared.

"How do I get out of here?" Giles asked.

"No one leaves." Freddy said as he started to walk towards Giles.

"Quick put your hand on the boiler. Alice said. Giles looked at her like she was crazy.

"Do it!" She yelled. Giles put his hand on the metal door his skin started to burn as he yelled in pain. He sat upright in his easy chair and looked at his hand, which was blistered, and red. "Buffy please get here soon." Giles said as he went to bandage his hand.

The next morning Willow, Xander , Oz, and Cordelia walked into the library.

"Oh god what a night." Cordelia said as she yawned. Giles came out from his office with a pile of books, His hand bandaged.

"Oh good you're all here." He said as he put the books on the table.

"Could you all look through these books? I've got to the hospital and talk to a doctor." Giles said as he winced from the pain in his hand. "What happened?" Willow asked.

"It seems that this Freddy person paid me a visit last night. There's a doctor at the hospital that has a particular interest in Dreams. I'm going to talk to him. Could you all look through the books; find anything on dream stalkers, or dream demons. Willow could you start printing out that information from the computer?" Giles asked grabbing his briefcase.

"Sure." Willow replied.

"Good when I get back hopefully I'll have some answers to what's going on here." Giles said as he walked out of the library. "Well I guess we should start hitting the books." Xander said opening one the many books on the table.

"This is not how I wanted to spend a Saturday." Cordelia said grabbing another book. "aww come on Cordelia this could be fun." Oz said reaching for a book. Willows printer started printing. As she went to go get more paper from Giles office.

When giles arrived at the hospital he went directly to Doctor Goldman's office, and knocked on the door. There was no answer. Giles tried the doorknob but it was locked. He then went to the nurse's station.

"Excuse me is Dr. Goldman here today?" Giles asked.

The Nurse looked at him "I'm sorry Dr. Goldman passed away last night." "Oh" Giles said shocked at the news.

"Are you Mr. Giles?" The nurse said. Giles looked at her "yes I am why?" He asked.

"Dr. Goldman left orders for us to give you these files. And this picture." The nurse said handing Giles the box.

"Thank you." Giles said utterly confused as he started to leave the hospital.

Buffy walked outside her Hotel room and down to the Bus, as she boarded she hoped she wasn't to late.

"Is this going to be non-stop?" Buffy asked the driver.

"Yes ma'am all the way to Sunnydale." He replied.

"Thanks." Buffy said as she settled into her seat.

When Giles arrived at the Library the gang was hard at work. Willow had just finished printing everything she found on Springwood.

"How's everything going?" Giles asked as he set the box down.

"Great." Willow replied.

"I just finished printing." She said holding a stack of papers.

"Good job Willow. And the rest of you?" Giles asked.

"Well I found a couple references to dream demons but nothing about a dream stalker." Xander replied.

"I haven't found anything." Cordelia said closing the book.

"I've got an idea let's break for lunch I'm starved." Oz said, coming down from the racks upstairs.

"Good Idea why don't you and Cordelia go pick something up and bring it back for us." Xander said.

"Okay sounds like a plan to me." Oz said. Cordelia sighed and picked up her purse, "let's go we'll be right back." Cordelia said as they left.

"So what's in the box Giles?" Xander asked.

"Did you find out anything with that Doctor?" Willow asked.

"Um no he died last night." Giles said as he opened the folder from the box.

"What did you find out Willow?" Giles asked.

"Well according to everything all those kids in Springwood died in their sleep. But the odd thing is that they all mentioned Fred Kreuger right before their deaths. But that's not all it seems Mrs. Johnson's own brother and boyfriend were also killed under mysterious circumstances." Willow said pleased with herself.

"And what about this Fred Kreuger person?" Giles asked.

"That's where it gets weird" willow said.

"Too late." Xander said, as they both shot him a dirty look.

"Fred Kreuger was a child molester and serial killer. He was set free on a technicality, when the parents of the kids found out they found his hideout and burned him alive." "Nice town." Xander said.

"Anyway since he was burned alive there has been an urban legend that Freddy comes to kids in their dreams, and if he kills you, you die in real life." Willow Continued.

"Anything about a Dr. Goldman?" Giles asked.

"Yeah how did you know?" Willow asked.

"It seems Dr. Goldman and a colleague named Nancy Thompson were treating a bunch of kids for sleep disorders. After one session Nancy and some of the kids were found dead in the treatment room, Also Nancy's father was found dead that day in an old junkyard, and Dr. Goldman was found unconscious." Willow said as she went through the stack of papers.

"Here ya go this is a picture of Nancy Thompson." Willow said as she handed Giles the picture.

"This is the same woman in the picture in his office." Giles said.

Just then the doors of the library flew open.

"Okay just what in the world is going on here?" Buffy said as she walked through the doors.

"Buffy!" Willow yelled running over and giving her a big hug.

"Hey Buffy! I'm so glad you're back!" Xander said giving her a big hug as well.

"Buffy I'm really glad you've come back, I've talked to Princple Synder and." Giles said giving her a hug as well.

"Well It's good to be back but we all know something's up. So what's the sich?" Buffy asked. As she looked around the table she picked up the picture of Nancy.

"Where did this come from?" Buffy asked.

"Well we've got a bit of problem Buffy and it seems a number of people are connected to it." Giles said.

"So let's talk to them." Buffy said.

"Well it seems they keep dying, or they are in a coma." Giles said.

"This person, Nancy has been coming to me in my dreams what have you guys learned?" Buffy asked sitting down. Giles began to tell her the whole story.

Meanwhile in the Dreamworld Freddy went up to Alice "almost time, all the piggies are in place Alice." Freddy said as he stroked Alice's hair.

"Let me go Kreuger." Trying to get away from Freddy.

"Oh not yet Alice you're still needed." He cackled. Alice spit right in his eye it sizzled as ran down his cheek.

"The only reason you're still alive, is I need Bait!" Freddy growled. He took his gloved hand and ran the blades under her chin, "If I didn't need you I'd filleted you a long time ago." And with that he walked off. Alice continued to struggle finally giving up.

Back at the library Giles had just finished filling Buffy in on everything that had been going on since she left. Buffy then proceeded to tell Giles everything that happened to her.

"What are we going to do?" Willow asked. Just then Oz and Cordelia came in the room.

"BUFFY!" Cordelia said.

"I'm so glad you're back, now maybe you can take care of what's going on." Cordelia said putting down the food.

"Nice seeing you again Cordelia, and you to Oz." Buffy said giving both of them hugs.

"hey Giles what are these things?" Xander asked holding up the picture of the dream demons.

"Those are Dream demons they supposedly search the world looking for the most evil person and they give that person the ability to cross the line between dreams and reality." Giles stated.

"Hey I saw those things in one these books." Cordelia said looking for the book.

"Giles I think we should rescue Mrs. Johnson first." Buffy said.

"I agree Buffy but it's too dangerous there would be no way for us to assist you if Freddy attacked." Giles said.

"Good point Giles Hmmm how about if two of us went in I could distract him while the other rescues Mrs. Johnson." Buffy said.

"I don't know Buffy it's a very different situation he controls the dream world." Giles said thoughtfully.

"Well how about two of us go in and if it looks like we're in trouble wake us up." Buffy stated. "I volunteer to go in Buffy." Willow said.

"Willow you do know what it's like in there. it's not going to be pleasant." Buffy said.

"I know this guy and I have already met. So I kinda know what to expect." willow stated.

"No I don't think Willow should go, I'll go instead." Xander said.

"No Xander you don't know what he's like I'll go." Willow said.

"I think Willow would be the better choice, She's dealt with him before." Giles said.

"great then it's settled then." Buffy said.

"Now how do we get into the dream world Giles?" Buffy said.

"Xander, Oz there are two cots in the storage room could you go get them please." Giles said.

"sure come on Xander." Oz said going to the storage room.

"I still don't like the idea of you two doing this." Xander said.

"I appreciate your concern Xander just watch us if we look like something's happening wake us up." Buffy said.

"wait a minute." Willow said getting the first aid kit out from behind the desk.

"Here use these to wake us up." Willow said handing Cordelia ammonia ampoules. "these are used to revive unconisous people they should wake us up with no problem." willow said putting one in her pocket.

"alright let's do it!" Buffy said uneasily.

"alright Buffy, Willow lay down on the cots. I'll talk you into his dreamworld." Giles said. Buffy and Willow lay down on the cots as Cordelia, Xander, and Oz pulled up some chairs around the cots.

"First of all close your eyes and relax. You're getting sleepy, you're entire body is relaxed. I'm going to count down from ten, and when I reach one you will be in Freddy's boiler room. Ten, nine, eight,seven, six , five four, three two, one. You are now in the dreamworld." Giles said. "what should we do now?" Oz said.

"we wait and pray." Giles said.

When Buffy and Willow opened their eyes they were on a metal catwalk steam was billowing from a broken pipe.

"we're here." Buffy said. The walked along the catwalk until they came to a set of stairs. They proceeded to walk down the stairs until they were at the bottom. They looked around.

"over there Buffy." Willow pointed to a large furnace, next to it Alice was hanging on the wall. Buffy and Willow ran over to her. "Mrs. Johnson wake up!" Willow said.

"Willow what are you doing here?" Alice said.

"Mrs. Johnson this is Buffy we're gonna get you out of here." Willow said pulling on the goo.

"it's no good Willow we'll have to think of something else." Buffy said. Just then they all heard metal scraping.

"He's here! Get out of here you two." Alice said, her voice full of alarm.

"Willow keep trying I'll look out for Freddy." Buffy said.

"well well well what have we got here?" Freddy cackled as he walked out of the steam. "Looks like a couple of Piggies waiting for the slaughter." Freddy laughed as he walked closer.

"Willow you and Buffy have got to get out of here." Alice screamed.

"Willow keep trying I'll hold him off." Buffy said ready for anything. Willow was fumbling around looking for anything to help her cut through the goo but she couldn't find anything. Freddy lunged for Buffy, but she managed to flip him as he ran towards her. Freddy got up and grabbed Willow by the throat.

"the first little Piggy, you escaped me the first time but not now." Freddy growled as he raised his glove ready to strike. At that moment Buffy saw an old metal rod lying on the floor. She grabbed it and ran towards Freddy impaling him on the rod. Freddy screamed in agony dropping willow. Willow scrambled back to where Alice was. Trying to free her. She looked over in awe as Freddy slowly pulled the rod out of his chest, when it was completely out he look at the gore on the tip of it and Licked it. Buffy shuddered in disgust at the sight.

He looked at Buffy, "I am Eternal, In dreams I am Forever!" Freddy yelled rushing towards Buffy, Tackling her to the floor. Freddy had pinned Buffy to the ground. He was about to swipe at her with his glove when Buffy head butted Him. Freddy reeled back Dazed for a second . But it was enough time for Buffy to flip him. Now Buffy was on top she grabbed his gloved hand and bent it backwards, she heard the bone and Muscle snap as she did it. Freddy screamed in agony. Buffy got up and stood ready for him.

Willow was still fumbling with the goo when she slipped and fell on her side. She felt a cool liquid oozing in her pocket. She reached in and pulled out the broken ammonia ampule.

"of course!" She said as she stuck it under Alice's nose.

"Breathe deep." Willow said. Alice inhaled as much as she could. Alice coughed at the pungent odor. All of the sudden she started to fade away.

"meet us at the school library." Willow yelled. "I will, thank you." Alice as she faded all the way out.

Alice awoke with a shock. She was still strapped to the bed when she started yelling for the Nurse.

Freddy stood up shook his broken hand around and became like it had never been broken before.

"You'll never leave here." Freddy laughed as he took a swipe at Buffy. Buffy ducked the blade just missing her as she spun around she tried to grab Freddy by the sweater. But only succeeded in tearing off a chunk of it.

"Buffy come here! I freed Alice!" Willow Yelled. When she did Freddy looked at her then looked at the space where Alice had been once been. Buffy lunged for Freddy but he was to quick, he grabbed her arm and spun her around.

"I don't think so." Freddy Growled. And he proceeded to throw her against the wall. Buffy slowly slid down the wall and crumbled onto the floor.

"Now lets finish what we started Willow!" Freddy cackled as he started to walk towards her. Willow was frozen with fear. She looked at her hand she, still had the ample in her hand. Willow brought it up to her nose and inhaled deeply. She shuddered from the smell. Freddy was just about on top of her when she faded out of the dream world.

Willow shot upright on the cot "Buffy's still in there!" Willow yelled as she grabbed another ample from Cordelia .

Buffy lay on the floor stunned. She opened her eyes Freddy was standing over her "all your friends are gone Buffy, It's just me and you." Freddy laughed. Just then Buffy started to fade out.

"I'll have to take a raincheck sorry." Buffy said as she faded completely away.

Buffy awoke to find Giles, Willow, Xander, Oz, and Cordelia standing around her. "Hi guys." Buffy said as she sat up. " are you all right?" Giles asked. "yeah I'm fine." Buffy said.

"did we do it?" " I think so Buffy." Willow said.

Buffy looked down in her hand there was a part of a green and red sweater. "I think I know how to get this creep." Buffy said, handing the cloth to Giles.

Meanwhile Alice had managed to get out of the hospital and was back at her apartment. She opened a dresser drawer and pulled out an old red and white bandana, and a studded wristband she put these items on, pulled back her hair into a ponytail, put her bomber jacket on. She looked in the mirror and she thought of her first encounter with Freddy. She thought of all the pain he had brought into her life, the friends she'd lost.

"this is it Freddy, you're going back to hell where you belong." Alice said, full of defiance. She then walked out of her apartment and towards the school.

"From what we know Freddy is obviously is the vessel for the dream demons." Giles said "The problem is as long as he is in the dreamworld he is practically invincible." Giles continued.

"What if we were to bring him into our world, that way we could separate the dream demons from him, then send him back to where ever he came from." Buffy said. "there is a spell in which we could do that. But the problem is getting him out of the dream world." Giles stated.

"Well if part of his sweater can come out, if we were to grab hold of him. Then wake up at that moment we could pull him out." Xander said.

"Yes but we would have to be holding on to him until the person was fully awake." Giles stated.
