Heartsick, Willow sat on Buffy’s bed stroking Mr. Gordo. “She’s really gone. I can’t believe it.

I know I miss her so much it hurts...

But... we gotta be brave for Dawnie.

We couldn’t.”

She glared at him. “Stop looking at me like that.

“You don’t know you weren’t there.

There was nothing I could do. You know when she sets her mind there’s no stopping her.

Stop it!

You’re just a stupid toy!

Don’t. Please.” She begged.

“No, you don’t know what you’re asking.”


“Okay.” She hugged him tightly, “Don’t worry Mr. Gordo I’ll bring her back to you.”
