Moving On: A Soul

A/N: Plese reveiw. I REALLY want know if this chapter was any good.

"Buffy, I didn't think it matters how I got my soul back-"

"You're stalling. I've known you for a while now. I can tell when you're stalling. Like now.
I'd like to know how you made this possible. This could mean so much. For us."
She gave him a look clearly stating that she wasn't taking no for an answer.

"Fine."

Buffy, in the time that we have been apart we have both lost a lot. Your mother, Doyle, Cordy, Tara.
The list goes on.But we both recieved something woderful. My son Conner, your sister Dawn. Please don't interupt. I'll explain everything at the right time...but for now we'll stick with how I got my soul.

After giving up Conner to different people and giving him a new, wonderful life, I was pretty much miserable. I had lost another very important thing in my life thanks to my stupid mistakes.

I wasn't able to do tings right ater taking over Wolfram & Hart. I had lost you, Cordy, Conner, and all sense of right and wrong. I'm the CEO of an evil law coorperation for pete's sake. I had absolutely mothing to live for. Apparently the Powers knew of my misery. They called me in for a meeting with the oracles. Do you remember who they are? I didn't thinks so. It's alright.

When I went to see them they didn't understand why I was so unhappy. I was filthy rich because of this company. Because of this copany I have all the resourses I need to protect everybody. They just couldn't understand my pain. Hell, they couldn't
even see my pain. They asked what they could do to make me happy again. Of coarse I asked them to rearrange everyone's lives so we could be together and I could still have Conner. Obviously, that did not happen.

So I asked them to change the curse. Make it so I'm still paying for what I did, but now i could expierence true happiness. Honestly, I
didn't think it would work. But I was desperate.
