Episode 8: Tabula Rasa

Spike confronts Buffy about their kiss in the previous episode. Buffy says it's over with.

Tara confronts Willow about her overuse of magic. Willow promises not to abuse magic again, but performs a spell to erase Buffy's memory of heaven.

Spike needs to elude a demon loan shark named Teeth and wears a tweed suit. He ends up in the Magic Box as Willow does the spell. However, all the Scoobies are affected. They all wake up in the Magic Box with amnesia. They must reconstruct their identities based on the limited information in their wallets and elsewhere. Buffy, Spike, Dawn, and Anya do not have any ID. Anya and Giles think they are a couple and kiss.

Spike is with some demons in an alley. Buffy exits a door and runs out of the alley. Spike chases her and is chased by a demon, whom he punches. He also goes into game face.
