Episode 13: Dead Things Using a mind-control gadget, the Troika make Katrina, Warren's
ex-girlfriend, their slave, possibly sex slave.
Written by Steve DeKnight
After having sex, Buffy and Spike have post-sex talk ranging from the decoration
of his crypt to her feelings for him. Spike pulls out some handcuffs and asks
her if she trusts him. Buffy says, "never."
Xander
teaches Dawn to dance.
Buffy asks Tara to look into the resurrection spell and find out how she came
back wrong.
Buffy rubs her wrists and we see that she has cuff-marks, thus suggesting that
she let Spike handcuff her. She also goes to the Bronze with her friends. While
there, she runs into Spike and they have sex in the shadows upstairs at the
Bronze. Buffy feels bad about this.
When the mind control on Katrina begins to wear off, she tries to escape, and
Warren accidentally kills her. The Troika use magic to make Buffy think that
she has killed Katrina. Jonathan seems to have doubts.
After the incident with Katrina, Buffy is appalled. Spike comforts her and takes
her home. In her bedroom, they have sex again. That night, Buffy has disturbing
dreams.
Buffy wants to confess to killing Katrina, but Spike won't let her. They have
a confrontation where she beats him up. Later, she discusses with Tara the results
of Tara's analysis of the resurrection spell. Tara's information upsets Buffy
greatly, and Buffy breaks down crying, confessing her relationship with Spike
to Tara.
