Dawn and Spike carefully tend a still-shocked Buffy at home, until interrupted by the Scoobies--who are troubled by Buffy's unresponsiveness. Later, the gang discovers the spell that brought Buffy back also brought with it a malevolent spirit that must kill Buffy in order to survive. With the help of Willow and Tara's magic, Buffy defeats the spirit. Later, after thanking her friends for bringing her back, Buffy confides a terrible secret to Spike: she wasn't in a hell dimension; she was in heaven.
