Buffy says it'll be good for them. Giles is taking the SIT's on a camping retreat similar to the one he took Buffy on. Giles says he heard from one of the SIT's that he once took Buffy and told her to do the slayer hokey pokey. Willow comes downstairs. Buffy is happy for the chance to change the subject. Xander comes through the door complaining that the SIT's are fighting, Anya comes in behind him, fires with some snark about the SIT's arguing. Anya and Willow go off into the other room.

Buffy goes into the basement to talk to Spike. Says it's like a warzone upstairs. Spike says he's trying to stay out of the way. They converse a bit, Spike grabs his head in pain. Buffy asks him what's wrong. He says the chip, starts screaming.

Tea kettle whistles. Buffy walks in to the kitchen, Willow asks if Spike is feeling better. Buffy said he stopped screaming. Willow is making tea for Kennedy who is sick, Buffy sort of hints that Willow is attracted to Kennedy. Willow shrugs it off. Buffy asks Willow what she knows about the chip. Willow isn't helpful on the matter. Walks past with the tea. Buffy says have fun delivering the tea. Willow tells her not to say that all sexy like.

Willow finds Kennedy well dressed and not sick at all. Willow says she'll have to phone Xander to come and get her. Kennedy says no, she has her own mission, Willow has to help her with it. They end up at the Bronze, having drinks. Willow says it isn't a mission, turns to leave, Kennedy manages to get her to stay for one drink. Kennedy asks her how long has she known she's gay. Willow balks at the question. Kennedy rephrases her question to how long has she enjoyed having sex with women. Willow sort of asks how Kennedy knows, if she's putting out some kind of vibes. Kennedy says she can just tell when a woman is flirting with her. Either she reads the signals or she just gets a woman drunk to see if she comes on to you. Willow says she's been gay for three years. It was one woman, just one woman she was in love with.

Spike is laying down, there's blood on his pillow. Buffy tries to figure out what's wrong with the chip. Spike says maybe he just wasn't meant to last that long. Buffy says she'll look it up, see what's wrong. Spike wants to know where she's gonna look. Buffy realizes she can't look it up in a book. Buffy says maybe it's a phone thing. She says she's gonna try calling Riley.

Willow tells Kennedy about Tara.

Buffy is on the phone, can't seem to get through to Riley. Spike is sitting on the stairs talking to her, he grabs his head in pain. Buffy fails to reach Riley. She turns to see Spike, recovering from a pain flash. He says it's not so bad, he should be able to handle it. Then he grabs his head again and begins to scream.

Willow tells Kennedy she doesn't get it. She doesn't get why Kennedy likes her. Kennedy says they have similar interests. Willow tries to downplay their things in common. Kennedy continues to list off all the stuff she loves about Willow. She says she loves everything but she thinks that the magic stuff is fairytale crap. But if it's important to Willow then it's cool.

Kennedy walks Willow to her room. Willow says this is her stop. Willow walks into the room. Kennedy says she needs to clear the air about something. Brief small talk, Kennedy walks into the room, kisses Willow on the lips, camera pans around them, Willow turns into Warren. Says it was nice.

Willow continues to talk to Kennedy, who is backed off, startled. Willow doesn't realize that she has turned into Warren. She looks in the mirror, sees Warren reflected back.

Willow comes downstairs in the guise of Warren. No one believes she's Willow at first. Andrew is all freaked out that it's Warren. Andrew keeps grabbing Willow in bad places. The scoobies all inspect, not sure that the thing that looks like Warren is telling the truth. Warren-Willow comes up with Willow details to prove her identity. Anya says it must be like a glamor. Willow says sort of. She says it must be some sort of guilt thing that turned her. Spike screams, falls to the floor holding his head in agony in all the kerfluffel. Willow tells the gang they got their hands full, she made this happen, she can unmake it. The gang agrees. Willow leaves. They attend to Spike. Spike says he thinks it may be too late to help him.

Kennedy catches up with Willow/Warren. Kennedy inquires as to why she's turned into Warren. Willow says she killed Warren. Kennedy looks shocked. Willow says she couldn't undo whatever she did herself, she's going to see some old friends for help. Kennedy says she'll tag along. Willow is none too happy about it, but allows her to tag along anyway.

Buffy and Spike find the secret door to the initiative. They break in, intent on looking for files.

The phone rings at Buffy's house. Andrew runs to answer the phone. Xander calls Andrew a loser. It's a watcher from England, the one that Giles was with when the axe swinging happened. The watcher says the last thing he saw was the axe swinging and when he came to there was no Giles. Xander, Dawn, Anya and Andrew immediately suspect that Giles is dead, and that he's the first. They try to decide if Giles has touched anything since he got back. Anya asks if anyone's touched him or hugged him. They all look panicked, start out the door. Andrew asks them if they're just leaving him behind. They try their best to argue that he can't come. In the end Anya tells Xander they should just bring him, to keep an eye on him. Dawn and Andrew go out the door first. Anya says Xander's name, they're standing at close range, Xander says he know's, they're all alone, he grabs his coat and they go out the door.

Warren/Willow and Kennedy walk in on a Wiccan meeting at the college. They argue over whether or not it's really Willow. Amy stands up and informs them that it's really Willow, she can tell. Amy tells Willow she's really screwed up, but she's okay now. Kennedy acts a bit jealous. Willow tells Kennedy to let Amy talk. Amy says she's gotten better now, that she wanted to apologize to Willow. Willow says she couldn't shake the glamor herself, she was hoping they could help. Amy says it's not really their thing, but they could try. They begin a ritual. Willow/Warren's hand is hurt, Willow/Warren slaps Amy. Amy remarks that Willow slapped her. Willow says she didn't do it, it was Warren.

Willow storms out, afraid that she's turning into Warren. Kennedy follows, which pisses Willow off, Willow makes a barrier, walks through it and away, leaving Kennedy unable to follow.

Buffy and Spike go through the darkened initiative with flashlights. Buffy says she hopes it won't be a long stay.

The remaining Scoobs are in the car. Andrew is trying to play road games, no one is participating. They try to figure out what to expect. They try to figure out what to do. Dawn brings up how helpless they are. Anya says all they are is a key a powerless ex demon and a couple of geeks. The car goes silent. Someone brings up roadgames again.

Willow/Warren is sitting with his face in his hands. He hears, something, jumps to his feet.

Buffy and Spike hear something underground. They search for it. Something attacks Buffy in the dark, Buffy drops the flashlight. Spike calls for her in the darkness.

Kennedy approaches Amy who is cleaning up after the failed ritual. Amy says Kennedy is really worried about Willow. Amy says Willow will be all right. She took care of herself fine before she found herself a pet SIT. Kennedy says she never told Amy she was an SIT. Amy argues the point, Kennedy argues that she never said that. Amy says oops.

Buffy and Spike fight off an underground demon.

Willow/Warren goes to buy a handgun.

The Scoobies arrive at the campsite. They all tackle Giles. Are happy to find once they've knocked him to the ground that they can in fact touch him. Anya says they're happy to find that he has form and can touch things. Giles wonders why they'd be unhappy that he went on a trip with a whole bunch of young girls and was unable to touch them.

Buffy calls for Spike in the darkness. She finds them. Suddenly the lights come on, they're surrounded by initiative people with guns. They are there under orders from Riley.

Willow stalks down the street with her gun, determined.

The initiative dude tells Buffy that the chip has to be repaired or removed right now or it'll kill Spike. Asks her which she wants.

Kennedy asks Amy why she did this to Willow. Amy throws Kennedy across the room with magic. Amy tells Kennedy that she did it because it's about power. Willow has all the power and doesn't use it, it's a waste. Amy thinks it's fun to torture her like this. Willow can kill someone and no one even talks about it. It's some sort of a guilt spell. Amy says she wonders where Willow would be right about now. Snaps her fingers, Kennedy appears in the Summer's back yard. Willow walks in with the gun. Willow says she can make it better, this is where it all started. Willow and Warren get confused, talking about who they killed, their psyches confused. Willow says Kennedy tricked her into kissing her. Willow says she let Tara go. Tara was never gone, she was with her, Willow let her go and now she's dead. She says Kennedy made her kill Tara. Willow falls to her knees and begs Tara to come back. Kennedy approaches, she says it's not like that. Willow didn't wreck anything at all. Warren asks Kennedy what she's doing. Kennedy says bringing her back to life, like in fairytales. Kennedy kisses Warren/Willow, Willow reappears. Kennedy asks if Willow's okay. Willow says she doesn't know. That she's so tired. Kennedy offers to make her some tea. They go inside.
