Notes: Opressed Demon Women seek refuge in L.A. from the males of their species. Plot Highlights: Angel & Wes attend a party at Cordy's. Angel hires Wes. A vision sets Angel on the hunt. Angel's cell phone works poorly. Angel tracks a mysterious female demon, learns she's being pursued by the males of her species. Angel helps her and her charges escape. Memorable Moments: Angel imagines what would happen if he were to start dancing at Cordy's party. Wes's dancing is just as bad. Angel gives an impromptu art lecture, hinting that he knew Baudelaire, who was "a little taller and a lot drunker" than depicted. Wesley offers to individually wash the coffee beans he's spilled and other feats of phenomonal suck-up-it-tude.

NOTES ON EPISODE ART: CREATED 08/2003 ~This ep's certainly not much to write home about, so tried to emphasize the visuals instead and aimed for a cool superhero vs antihero look, with the purple skin tones contrasting with the yellow/orange highlights. And flame of course because of Jheira & Co's little habit of burning people up. For texture, I used custom brushes from insomniac brushes. Flames are from gettyone.com. Caps are from buffycaps.be and from sounds-of-silence.
