(her Claddagh ring slips to the floor; Angel picks it up. flash of her killing Angel)
BUFFY: I had to.
(he clenches the ring, blood oozing out)
ANGEL: I loved you.
(blood soaks through his shirt)
BUFFY: Oh, God! Angel...
ANGEL: (yells) GO TO HELL!
(his face starts to rot)
ANGEL: I did.
(Buffy wakes with a start, pulls the actual ring out of a drawer and looks at it)
