XANDER: You shouldn't sneak up on people like that! (weak smile) Jeez, Buff!

(Suddenly a vampire smashes his way out of a crate leaning against a wall. He lunges at Xander and Buffy, knocking them and himself to the pavement. A scuffle ensues. During the fight, we hear Cordelia's voice coming out of Xander's walkie-talkie.)

CORDELIA: Come in, Nighthawk! Everything okay?

BUFFY: Nighthawk?

(The vampire is back on his feet and comes at them.)

BUFFY: Oh!

(the fight continues. Willow, Cordelia & Oz arrive. The scuffle continues. Cordelia finally recognizes Buffy.)

CORDELIA: Oh, hey, Buffy.

(Buffy finally stakes the vamp. Xander, Willow, Oz & Cordelia have all fallen in a row on the ground during the fight. They stare up at Buffy, panting)

BUFFY: (weak smile) Hey, guys.
