(We hear whispering voices.)

SALESMAN: Yes? (half heard whispering) Yes, I did. ...Yes, I do.

(Salesman suicides. Cut to Angel about to take a drink, he hears the gunshot. Continues to sip, no apparent emotion visible on his face.)
