Willow has programmed the Buffybot to slay Sunnydale's demons and go to collage while she tries to revive Buffy with spells. The spells she does are slow-acting and no-one is there to see Buffy return. The buffybot is taken by a gang of demons and stays 'alive' long enough to tell Dawn about Buffy returning. The gang arrive at a bell tower just in time to see the real Buffy defeate the demons and welcome her back.
