Nice! I loved it! I normally hate one-shots (no offense) because I really prefer more depth and detail, but yours was short, yet it still had so much power and emotion. Great job!

Author's Response: *blushes* Wow, what a great review! I'm like you, I don't normally do one-shots `cause they're not meaty enough. But if I write anything, I have to have PLOT or else it's not worth it to me. So hopefully, even my one-shots have depth. Thanks, BlackFire, and I'll probably do a sequel, just later on down the line.

Author's Response: Thanks, Madame! Going back to watch this, I could see so much, even back then that was overtly Spuffy. I was blessed to have buffy_the_vamp6 make me a banner that compliments the fic so well! Yes, it was fluff, something I indulge in rarely, but I needed this. Thanks again for the review!

I love the dialog you wrote between Buffy and Spike. Yes, please make a sequel or continue this. Would love to see what you have Spike say or do to Dru and what Angel(us) will do. Great story.

I use the term knob-Jockey all the time, especially when I'm driving. When I read it in your story it made me laugh. This was a fab story, loved all Spike's dialogue. Really hope there will be a sequel. Thanks for sharing x

Okay, so I already reviewed this on spuffy_wonder, but it's just too good not to read here and review again. I truly loved every word of this story. Although, I have to say, I'm a big fan of action tags with heartfelt dialogue and this story was spot full of them.
My favorite moments from this:
�As long as I know it�ll be you and me at the end, I can wait,� he assured her, squeezing her fingers.
�You and I will always dance,� she murmured, drifting in and out of sleep, curling her hand in his.
�That we will,� he promised, gently brushing away a stray hair on her forehead. �
And this one...
�Promise me the last dance, Buffy?�
She inhaled sharply at the tenderness of his actions and the sound of her name on his lips. �Try and keep me from it.�
Grinning from ear to ear, he winked at her and backed away. �That�s my Slayer.�
And of course that ending... it was so perfect! I could totally see Spike busting out of those doors and yelling that. Perfect character voice for Spike.

Author's Response: *bounces* YAY!!!!!! I'm so glad you liked it - I hope I did the prompt justice, even though there wasn't any smut. I can do comedy and heartfelt sentiments out the whazoo (just what IS a whazoo anyway?) but this just didn't call for any smuttage. It was too early in the season for it and she wouldn't have been ready for it. This just gives a hint at what's already there. You picked some of my favorite lines! *SQUEE* I hear Spike's voice in my head (yeah, I'm psycho and he talks to me) more than Buffy. And oddly enough, Xander's in there too. *shakes head* Thankee so much for reviewing both places! I need to catch up on my reading/reviewing because I've been VERY lax lately. *huggle squishes you!*
