Well you summary got me worried.. I don't read Spred. But I'm willing to find out what you mean with it. Uh-huh... when Spike told Angel he wanted to see Buffy he is needed all of a sudden? I see - the Spike/Fred love - this blinding flash of white. How convenient for Angel: It doesn't look like as if Spike will be going to get Buffy now. Huh? Spike called Buffy that she would come to LA? Wonder if it was a game with Fred... Nope .. he's still fallen for Fred. And again Huh? Buffy is unconscious now.

Did Angel make a Vengeance wish? That Spike would find/love someone else and not go after Buffy? There was that whole flash, and Spike seemed to have fainted, and now he thinks he loves Fred and can hardly remember the important parts of his relationship with Buffy.

Angel has some definite explainging to do!
