Born in Los Vegas, Charisma Carpenter was a real cheerleader - with the San
Diego Chargers. Named after an Avon perfume, she went by the name 'Chrissy'
for several years until she realised 'Charisma' was actually pretty cool.
Following over a dozen commercials and appearances in the TV shows Baywatch and Malibu Shores, Charisma landed the part of Cordelia after originally auditioning for the role of Buffy.
Charisma loves adventurous sports. After skydiving on her 26th Birthday, network executives forbade her from doing it again for the duration of her contract. She has prudently switched to writing poetry instead.
Charisma has recently given birth to a bouncing baby boy, named Donavan Charles Hardy.
