This is a very Special news day indeed, and even though I did update News Bites the following story is of much greater importance...
"Hey assholes. I just thought I'd make it official and tell you
that I'm done. It's been a hell of a ride, and I wouldn't change it for
the world. I loved updating and creating everything so much, but after 3
1/2 years I've finally become burnt out. I took a hiatus to see whether
or not I'd want to continue this, but after many days of thinking about
it, I decided to end my term as the webmaster of this great site. But
fear not, Eric is taking over and he's going to keep this place going as
long as he can. He still has a passion for it, and I think you'll like
the direction he takes this place. I may be back at certain times to
help him out or an idea might pop in my head for a feature or whatever,
but what I did before -- maintaining the website -- that part is over. I
hate to sound sentimental and hokey, but hey, I was doing this shit for
a long, long time. Keep reading HMC with Eric Hendrix. Who knows, you
may see my name pop up every once in awhile somewhere on the site.

Well there you have it Hellhounds it's official, you are stuck with me, but only with the updates, I would like to take a quick moment to emphasize that Matt is only leaving the updates, he will be very much involved with where we take the site in the future. On that note I would also like to state that we are currently working on many new ideas and directions for the site, and even though you can't see it yet there are hours worth of changes going on right under your nose. In case you haven't noticed after the site went down a few months back (Because of Jet Set Web and their complete and total dumbassness) we have taken a blow in our hits. We here at HMC are committed to bringing the people back to the site and we will not surrender. We are working now on a new and improved HMC with not only Matt's help but a few old friends as well. If you would like to help or have ANY suggestions for directions you would like to see the site go in or if you would like to help us in our new undertaking please email me at ehendrix@blkswan.com. We could use anyone with any writing experience, web development or graphic skill.
