PM Update

Very small this evening....

The Conventions page is updated. I've added info for the Cleveland Slayer Vulkon and Hellhound Con 2004. ;)

That's it for today. Have a good one.

AM Update

It's Monday. Let's hit it...

Kirsten sent in the summaries for "Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been", "First Impressions" and "Untouched". Check them all out in the episode guide.

News Bites has...

- An interview with J. August Richards on Angel's cancellation.
- A e-comic about the end of the Whedonverse.

Mini Rant (bitter and ticked - warning): I want everyone to realize that signing petitions and sending cards and letters to the WB are all well and good, and shows that we are a strong fanbase. However, I advise everyone not to get into a frame of mind that thinks this will change anything. If it pisses off the WB, it was worth it, but I just don't want anyone to keep up the dillusions that we can change the cancellation decision. This sounds like it's pretty well set in stone. And I'm not being cynical, I'm being realistic.

I heard Tensai over at Spoiler Slayer talking about this subject and saying that we shouldn't even do anything to voice our anger over this, because the WB gave us so many years of Buffy and Angel... And I think he's full of shit. You do what YOU want to voice your opinions. We at HMC care about YOU, not some fucking billion-dollar company. I could give two shits about the WB. The demographics show that Angel's core fanbase is STILL there. So this decision has to do with the WB being show-changing-happy and tightwads. I guess what I'm trying to say is Tensai and the WB can go fuck each other.

So you do what you want, just realize it won't change much in THIS particular decision.

Ah, that made me feel better.
