13th Century
Acathla, the demon, comes forth to suck the world into He is killed by a virtuous knight who pierces his heart with a blessed sword. Acathla turns to stone, and is buried where no one would look for him, which would eventually be the town of Sunnydale.

1212
The Axe of Dekeron, said to have been forged in hell itself is lost during the Children's Crusade, where it is used to kill children.

15th Century
El Eliminati, a deadly vampiric duelist cult, is formed.

The Word of Valios, a talisman, is forged.

The Prophecies of Aberjian, which includes the Shanshu Prophecy, is believed to have been lost. By this time it contains texts a dozen different languages, some that aren’t human and contains key passages for the vampire with a soul. It has actually been taken by agents of Wolfram & Hart.

The Pergamum Codex, containing the most complete prophecies about the slayer, is “misplaced.”

Cortona, Italy. Moloch the Corruptor, a deadly and seductive demon that preys on impressionable minds and draws people to him with promises of love, power, knowledge, is trapped inside a book by Monks.

1431
Sighisoara Fortress, Romania. Vlad Tepes, son of Vlad Dracul, is born. He will later be known as Vlad the impaler, Vlad Tepes Dracula and simply, Dracula.

1453
America. Tezcatcatl, one of the Aztec’s most powerful warriors, forges a mystical talisman that can harness the power of the Sun God, giving him awesome power. He is discovered and sentenced to die on the Day of the Dead. Before he dies, he has a shaman put a curse on him to return from the dead every fifty years, so that he can search for the talisman. After Tezcatcatl’s execution, the talisman is given to a great hero in charge of protecting it.

1497
South America. The Incas choose a beautiful girl to be their princess, and then bury her alive as a sacrifice to the mountain Gods. A cursed seal is placed in her hands as a warning to any who try to wake her.

1594
The Immortal, a powerful player straddling the forces of good and evil and serving his own desires, is spotted in Rome for the last time until his return in the late 19th Century.

Some dates are conjecture but I&Mac226;ve put them where I feel is best. The Slayer origin date is based on a document presented at the Tampa Buffy Vulkon in 2003. I have not included the cup of perpetual torment, as I am very much uncertain whether there was a real cup at all (however the Columns Opera House is in here) Wesley and Giles&Mac226;s birth date are based on the actor&Mac226;s ages.
