"Uh-huh" Buffy agreed "Well…I think the brave warrior implanted with an evil seed is someone who has good intentions, but has something dark inside him, like a demon" "Like Angel!" Buffy said "Or Eddie…" Willow corrected "Not Eddie" Buffy said angrily "Why not?" Willow asked "I mean…He fights demons, so he's good, also…He has a…You know…Demon inside him…" "…And because that demon is a Kashra demon…" Giles continued; "…That prophecy is mentioned in a Kashra encyclopedia…Buffy, Eddie…You were destined to work together" "WHAT!? "What the…" Xander said when they saw the line at the Bronze going on more then 50 people; "By the time we get in Blink will be gone already" "I know…" Buffy said; "…That’s why we take the back door…" The two of them walked to the back of the Bronze and Buffy kicked in the door. "Shouldn’t we wait for Willow?" Xander asked "Nah…She said she still had to do homework tonight…" "Hmmm…Lemme think…" Xander acted as if he was thinking very hard; "Homework…Or…Blink…Oh, I know, homework…Not!" "You guessed my thoughts…" Willow said, she was standing right behind him. "Ehhh, Will, hi!" *Oh god…* Together, they sneaked inside. "FREEZE! You are under arrest, article 237. Put your hands behind your back and face against the wall." "Officer, we…" Xander tried "SILENCE! You have the right to remain silent, everything you say can and will be used against you in court…You have the right to an attorney, now prepare to be strip-searched…". "Wait a minute…Strip-searched?" Buffy asked, she turned around, Eddie stood behind them, grinning; "Darn…" "What do you think you’re doing?" "Just a little joke…" "And what if we’d stripped?" "Then this’d be one fine day…" "Pervert" "Well Buffy…" Willow backed Eddie up; "You have to admit, he really had us there…What is article 237?" "My age…Let’s just go inside…" The four of them sneaked inside, Eddie disappeared in the shadows. It seemed like The Bronze wasn’t open yet. They hid upstairs, watching the maintenance crew go over everything again so nothing would go wrong. That was when they saw Eddie again, he had attached a cable to the ceiling and was hanging there upside-down making calculations, he drew his sword and scraped some concrete off the ceiling, Buffy could some of the words he mumbled to himself; "Break through the ceiling…….Best spot…Stage…Blink…No escape…Easy kill…" He detached the cable and dropped down on the floor, he disappeared in the shadows again. "Oh my god…" Buffy said; "He’s gonna kill the artists…" "WHAT!?" Xander and Willow gasped. "Just kidding!" "Not funny" Xander said; "What is he doing?" "Preparing…" "Yeah, whatever…Look, they’re opening!" The door opened and people started to come inside, seeking a good spot to see the stage. Buffy went downstairs to find Eddie; "I'm gonna apologise to him for my behaviour". "There they are!" The third band member just walked up on the stage. "Good evening Sunnyville!" "Tom, it’s Sunnydale…" "Whatever!" They played an older song before they started to play some songs off their new cd. Just when they started on 'the rock show' Buffy saw Eddie again, he was leaning against a post, enjoying the music. "Having a good time?" "Of course…They’re the best" "Didn’t know you liked punk rock…" "Can’t a demon hunter like punk rock?" "Sure you can…Wanna dance?" "I can’t…" "Right…Gotta keep a close eye on the door, huh?" "No…I can’t dance…" "Oh…" "…And she's gonna come in through the ceiling…" "…Oh…Well, I just wanted to a…" Before she could finish her sentence the demon thrashed in through the ceiling and landed in front of the stage, Eddie looked up; "Right on time…" He ran towards the demon and attacked. Buffy tried to get to Willow and Xander; "Will, Xander, get these people out!" "Right!" The two of them started to guide the people towards the door "No!!" Eddie yelled "Leave them!" He slammed into the demon and they flew through a window, people gathered around the window to see the two fight. "Buffy! tell Blink to keep playing!…I fight better on their music!" "What?" "Like in the gym, when we were sparring!" "Right!" She ran over to the stage, where the group was standing, watching the fight; "Didn't they tell you?" she asked; "This is part of the show, just keep on playing, okay?" "Okay!". The music started again and the crowd started flowing back to the stage, Buffy ran outside, Eddie was still fighting the demon, now on the rhythm of the music, it looked like the demon had the upper hand, Buffy ran towards the demon and tackled her; "Need a hand, punk rocker?" "No thanks, I've got two of my own…She's just stronger then expected…" "She didn't look that tough to me…" "Lucky shot…You'd better run…" "INDEED YOU SHOULD!" The demon stood up behind her and stabbed, Eddie stepped before Buffy and blocked the blade. "Run…while you can…" *Damn it, where's Angel?* He attacked again, the demon blocked and stabbed him in his stomach, the blade came out on the other side, red from his blood. "Eddie!" Buffy ran towards the demon and punched; "Ouch!…that hurts!" Eddie slided off the blade and fell on the ground, he immediately jumped up again. "WHAT!?" "It'll take more then a few knife wounds to get me down…" "…And that goes for me too" Angel ran up from behind the demon and elbowed it down; "Buffy…run" "You're late Angelus" "Yeah, got held back in traffic, and its Angel" "Whatever…Let's just get this demon…" The two of them started attacking the demon from different sides, still, they got slammed back by her. "Okay kid, time to get serious…" "Already?…Oh, alright" Eddie drew his sword and focused, his body started to glow and an armour formed around it, only the face, arms and legs were left uncovered. "What the…" Buffy gasped "A little gift from Kashra…" Eddie said, then he attacked again, alone this time. "Aren't we supposed to help?" Buffy asked "No, they're in a league of their own, there is no way to help, and it looks like Kashra doesn't stand a chance against him…" "Well, I can't just stand here, I'm gonna help out" She attacked the demon in the back, the demon didn't feel a thing. "Hey! If you wanna fight, come over here!" "AND WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO ME?" The demon turned around and swung a blade at her, Just before it hit, Eddie jumped before her and took the blow, the blade cut deep into his flesh, too deep…He fell on his knees. "Eddie!" Buffy helped him back up, he mumbled something "What?" Buffy asked "P…Plan……B…..A..Angel…" "Angel!" Angel had taken over the fight against the demon and tackled it, he came to them; "Time for plan B..." "Which is?" Buffy asked "I sire Eddie…And his powers will increase even more, he'll also heal faster…But when it fails…He'll turn evil and become an even worse foe then Kashra" "Let's take the risk" "Alright, just get me enough time to do it" "One diversion comin' up!" An arrow flew past her and onto the demon, it broke on the iron mass, but drew the demon's attention "Hey demon breath, why don't you pick on someone of your own size!" Xander and Willow had come back and brought Giles with. "OH-OH! I'M REALLY TERRIFIED!!!" "Well, you should be! 'Cause we're gonna kick your ass!" Willow threatened. "Not necessary…" Eddie stood behind the demon; "Plan B worked…" His eyes turned black and he struck the demon down, the demon broke its arm; "IMPOSSIBLE!" It roared, Xander grinned; "This is sooo cool!" The demon got up again, Eddie drew his sword; "Bye now…" He chopped the demon's head off in one move, the demon fell down and transformed back into its human form. As the demon fell down, Eddie started to glow again "Now what?" Buffy asked "The vampire powers are leaving, I don't need them anymore…And…" His voice turned back to normal; "Since all Kashra demons are dead, my demon powers are leaving too, so it's just me, 'normal' me…" The light disappeared and Eddie pushed his hand onto his waist, the wound started to bleed again. "Are you okay?" "Fine…Accelerated healing is still one of my powers…" "So you have superpowers of your own too?" "Yeah, I'd still beat you" "No way" "Whatever…See ya" "What?" "I'm leaving, gonna heal a bit and travel around the world, gonna hunt some famous vamps down, like William the bloody…" "Spike?" Angel asked "Who's Spike?" Buffy asked. "Nobody…" Angel answered "…See you around, kid" "Sure…" "Wait!" Willow walked over to them; "In the library…this morning? How did you get those books?" "Magic…" "Do you think, I mean, could I learn it?" "Of course…anyone can, just ask Giles for some books about spells" *Hmm…She has strong magic powers, I can feel it, she'd make a good witch…* "Thanks…goodbye" "Farewell…" Eddie said as he slowly walked away, obviously having pain with every move he made.

"Damn it!…That was the last time I jumped in to take an attack" Eddie mumbled to himself as he walked through the park, suddenly, a black thing shot in his back; "What the…" an electric shock stunned him. A few men came out of the bushes "This is Delta leader to base, we've captured suspect 13, possible HST, we're bringing him in" The men picked up the body and disappeared in the bushes…
