Night of the "Un-Bread" Pudding
(from "Dead Man's Party")

1 day old challah or other egg bread, cut into 1 1/2" cubes
4 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups shredded Gruyere cheese
1/2tsp grated Parmesan
6 large eggs
3 tbsp chopped fresh tarragon (dried works, too)
1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme (dried works)
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce

Grease a 2 1/2 quart shallow casserole pan. Arrange bread cubes evenly in dish. Wipe hands and lock the doors.

To prepare filling mix together milk, heavy cream, Gruyere cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, herbs, salt, pepper, and hot pepper sauce. Pour over bread cubes. Cover with plastic wrap. Chill at least 2hrs. Feel a chill running down your spine. The sun has set and the undead have risen.

Preheat hellmouth to 300. Grab a crucifix. It may not help you, but it will make you feel better.

Bake pudding until set and the "toothpick" test is successful (50-60min).
