Superman vs. Buffy : The Facts

Ok, I've read the NY Post article, and I'm a little peeved. If you want to read it before reading this, click here and click your back button when you're done with it. The reasons why Superman supposedly "kills" Buffy were not told, and were not very accurate to say the least. If anything, there was no reason to post the "news" in the first place. Here are some facts...

Superman: Created in 1934 by Siegel and Shuster. For those who are having a hard time caculating that, the man of steel is an aged 68 years old.
Buffy: Created by Joss Whedon in 1991. Yeah, Buffy isn't even a teenager yet.

Superman: He's an alien.
Buffy: She's a human with supernatural powers.

Superman: Can Fly.
Buffy: Can't.

Superman: Has little to no personality.
Buffy: Can quip with the best of them.

But what about the TV facts? -

Superman: The man of steel has become a teenager again in the WB show, "Smallville".
Buffy: Is still running strong since 1997. From the WB to UPN in 2001.

Superman: The WB has an audience of just under 2 million more viewers than UPN.
Buffy: UPN didn't even come that close to a WB audience until Buffy came around in the first place.

And the most important fact that Superman does not REALLY kill Buffy because of ratings...

Smallville is on at 9pm. Buffy is on at 8pm. WHY is there even an article about a face-off in the first place when the two shows aren't even on at the same time? If anything the NY Post should've been talking about Buffy vs. Gilmore Girls, or Smallville vs. Haunted.

I think it's pretty clear that these people have absolutely no right to even publish cooking tips, let alone trying to figure out the hardships of getting time differentials correct.
