![]() Warning: Spoiler-ish talk about episodes that aired this week and ones that are upcoming. Rant time... Villians - I don't know very many spoilers for next week, so I have no idea what's going to happen, with the exception of a couple things. I feel less evil this way. - I think they got that African Demon costume off the "Moloch" rack. - Speaking of racks, what was with Rack? He knew more details AND questions than an investigator would. I didn't know Warlocks had visions, or game show host tendencies. - Those of us who like the "big bad" Spike are going to be disappointed, I think. My personal opinion (with no actual knowledge of if it will happen) is that Spike went to Africa to lose the chip and get a soul. Not to lose the chip and go kill Buffy. Great, just what we need...Spike MORE of a wimpy boy than he has been in the last year. - Dawn showed a little bit of the ol' "destructer of the universe" side, by wanting Warren dead. - That's it. Clem is one of my all-time favorite guest stars. He cracks me up every time with that sweet attitude and that ridiculous face. I'll take the bugels. - Willow = evil is kind of uncomfortable to me. I think it's because of the first two seasons when she couldn't hurt a fly, and now she's the first original scooby member to kill a human being. It ranks high on the creep-o-meter. Although Wretch was right on the board - BlackMagickWillow makes VampWillow look like a 3rd grader. - Most of the effects in the episode were cheesy. Like Photoshop intermediate-level cheesy. The skin-less Warren effect, however, was really cool. Villians: 3 Stakes. Good, but not as good as I wanted it to be. Kind of felt rushed in all storylines. Maybe they should've ditched DMP this season and gave us an extra episode for the story arc. Still, a cool episode to prepare us for a season finale which should be insane. Benediction - Groo was no fun this week. I was looking forward to another sarcastic comment, but instead we get the jealous boyfriend vibe. This of course needs to happen, so they can proceed with the Cordy/Angel slowly-paced love story. - The father/son battle against the vampires was excellent. - You must get some superpowers from living in a hell dimension, because Stephen's got a sense of hearing like Dawn has a sense for complaining. - Maybe this will teach Fred and Gunn to never talk behind people's back. Or maybe this will teach them to never talk behind teenagers from hell dimension's backs....or maybe both. Or maybe I'm rambling. - Cordy's powers - neat-o. - Wesley! NO!!!!! I seriously don't see him going to the dark side. If he does, it won't be forever. - I didn't really understand the ending. Was it a set-up by Holtz, or was it a set-up by whats-her-name? Either way, Steph-nor isn't going to be happy. - Previews for next week's show: Son tells father, "Let's try a David Blane trick!" Benediction: 3 stakes. Holtz is dead, Steph-nor thinks Angel did it. What's going to happen? Just like BtVS, this was a set-up show for the big finale. I guess that means the *really* good episodes are coming up. Grr-Argh. Rant Over.
