A B O U T   T H E  B O Y

Oz first appeared back in '98 on the stage of Bronze. He was the lead guitarist in the band "Dingoes Ate My Baby". He didn't appear more than maybe a minute or so. But what he did do when he showed up was that he noticed a shy girl in an escimo suite - Willow. He asked the lead singer in the band - Devon - if he knew who she was but he didn't know. He later came up behind her and was about to talk to her when she was distracted by her friends. He stood watching her wondering who she was. Later on Halloween he saw her again and wondered again who she was. It wasn't until the Sunnydale High had a job fair that he spoke to her, letting us see a little more of him. He's a rather quiet person, doesn't say much but when he does it's never something stupid, the guy's really got some brains.

He decided to ask Willow out on a date but they ended up on a surprise birthday party for Buffy. This was also the time he was introduced to their lives, Buffy being the slayer and so on. When he was told about vampires demons and such he just said "It does explain alot..." which, well it does. He began to go out with Willow and getting into the Scooby Gang, but then he had a visit from some family, among them his cousin Jordy. This cousin bit Oz in his finger and made him a werewolf. Oz had some trouble getting ajusted to this and one night, just before dusk, Willow made a visit at his place to talk to him, but he was starting to turn when she was there. He tried to hide it from her but it wasn't very successfull, could have to do with the fact that he tried to kill her as a wolf.

He thought for sure that this would kill of his relationship with her but Willow's not a normal girl and told him that she liked him and that she wasn't very nice to be around three days of the month either. They had their first kiss that day.

He became a real member of the gang, hangin' with them most of the time, helping out with the slayage. He also made the book cage in the library his cage during his wolf nights. One night just before turning he got a visit from a fellow student, a guy whose girl he was friends with. This guy used a formula to make him a complete monster and he decided to make a visit at Oz's cage and telling him to stay away from his girl. He started to punch Oz and such but then, the sun went down and the odds was on his side. He faught him and then almost escaped from the school but was stopped by Willow and put back in his cage before he was able to hurt or even kill someone.

His trust in Willow was betrayed when she and Xander had been kidnapped by Spike. They (Will & Xand)had had a secret relationship for a little while and when Oz and Cordy found them they were kissing. Oz looked at her in hurt and didn't want to talk or see her for a while after that. She tried to say she was sorry and everything but he needed his space, which is very understanable. Finally he decided to forgive her because he couldn't really live without her and because he loved her very much.

As I said before he isn't a man with alot of words but he thinks alot and he tells the gang alot of thing by action, though not foolish action. When Willow was captured by Faith and the Mayor he doesn't say a word, instead in the middle of the big discussion about what to do about Will he walkes up to a bowl with spell ingredients that Wesly was going to use at Willow's expense, and he throws it at the floor making everyone silent and Buffy deciding that this was no debate - they where bringing Willow back.

He is a very brilliant person but he managed to not go to summerschool when he was supposed to and so he started to go to school in the same class as the rest of the gang.

He graduated in '99 and started at the California University of Sunnydale together with his girlfriend Willow who really adored him, and Buffy.
One night when he went out to find Buffy to keep her company in her slayage he passed a girl in the street and got a funny feeling. Later he saw her preform at the Bronze and was informed by her name - Veruca. Everytime she was around he had a strange feeling, and then one night he managed to get out of his cage during a full moon. The next morning he woke up in the woods beside Veruca, who turned out to be a fellow werewolf - hense his strange feelings about her. She, unlike Oz, was a "free" werewolf. She didn't believe in cages but was lured in to one by Oz. She and him had sex the first time they wolfed out and then she wanted him even when they weren't wolfed. Oz used this to lock her up in a cage, though his misstake was to put her in the same cage as himself. They has sex again and the morning after they were found naked by Willow. She freaked out and ran away. Later that day Veruca decided to kill Willow but was stopped and killed herself by Oz as a werewolf.

After that insident he decided that he shouldn't stay in town and put Will in leathal danger every month. He came to the conclusion that he should leave and try to find a way to repress or cure himself from the wolf. He disapeared without a trace for several weeks. Then one day the door to Giles's apartement was opened in the middle of a Scooby meeting and there he was, alive and well. Willow was a bit shocked and they decided to meet up later at her place. They did do that and before they started to talk he asked her to come outside. Out there the moon shone down on them, Will looked at Oz and was shocked and happy to see that he infact had been able to cure himself. They ended up talking all night during which time we was told that he had gone to Tibet and some monks, and after a lot of work with spells, chants and stuff he was cured. He had to keep his calm and have some amulettes, one being a band of pearls around his hand and wrist.

Everything was ok until he met Tara and smelled Will on her. He was under the impression that Will and he was going to get back together but what he didn't know was that Willow was sort of involved with Tara already. He got angry at Tara when she tried to walk away - this caused him to loose his calm and he began to wolf out, without the full moon and in the middle of the day. He chased Tara around the school but was captured by the Initiative who didn't know who he was and when they found out he was a human and that it was Oz. They made some experemants on him, negleting the fact that he actually is a human. They shocked him with electricity and came to the conclusion that he wolfed out when he was under negative forms. Then Riley tried to bust him out, but didn't succeed, he was rescued by Buffy and Xander though. He then decided that he should probably leave, had a talk with Will and he told her that she was the thing that actually pulled out the wolf in him, which is kind of ironic. They finally had a "real" brakeup and he left, never to return again.

There were talks that he would have shown up in L.A in 2004/2005 but he never did. We've never been informed of where he went but hopefully he's happy...
