We, the members of the Bloody Awful Poet Society, grieve at the loss of Tara. While we are primarily Spike fans, that does not blind us to the wonderful acting by Amber Benson when portraying the marvelous character Tara, who many of us believe was the most centered, mature, and compassionate member of the Scooby Gang.

Amber Benson's wonderful acting made Tara rise above being just Willow's girlfriend and come into her own as a character. Her quirky smile and sly sense of humour will be terribly missed. In every scene she graced, Tara held a quiet grace, exhibiting an inner strength and harmony with the natural world that was truly remarkable. It was a wonderful experience having her in our lives, even if just for this brief period. She won't be forgotten.
 

For all of Tara's fans and admirers, our thoughts are with you in this time of sorrow,  We know that you are all devastated by this loss.  Please know that we are here, feeling your pain and frustration.
