The following is an interview with Jimmy Shubert done by Mathew Ignash in December 2000. Jimmy played the part of Johnny Red in Sense and Sensitivity. >1. I've discovered many actors on Buffy or Angel have read for other parts on the show before landing the roles they received (Charisma Carpenter read for the part of Buffy, for instance). Have you ever read for a part on Buffy or Angel before, and if so which part? No, until that time I had never read for the show before. >2. Have you ever appeared in a television commercials we might recognize you from? No unfortunatley, I do not have very good luck with those! >3. When did you shoot this episode? October 1999 >4. What other people did you meet (actors and crew) and what impressions did they make on you? I met David (Angel) I don't know how to spell his last name, his little Irish side kick who dies in episode 9. and the director of that particular episode. They we're very nice to me it was a great environment to work in. >5. Oh, a bit of topic, I don't suppose you have a script that you can look to to straighten some casting out. The credits of your ep say who played "Uniform Cop #1", "Uniform Cop #3" and "Uniform Cop #3", but I'm not sure who is who. Can you tell me which scenes each cop appeared in? I like to have complete credit information with pictures and I can't seem to match them up. My ER episode, it is on my website at www.jimmyshubert.com, I am also in the Movie "GO" , I have a small role in "Coyote Ugly" and I just finished working on a Robin Williams Movie entitled "One Hour Photo" you can see me on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend" airs Monday December 18th, at 10:30 pm. >6. Do you personally know any of the other actors or actresses who have been on Angel or Buffy? NO! >7. Would you want to appear on Angel or Buffy again playing the same character? Playing a different character? I would love to appear as the same character!! >8. Did you watch Buffy The Vampire Slayer or Angel regularly? Will you in the future? I am a Stand Up Comedian, I am always working at night if I am home and it's on I will watch it. >9. Have you seen your episode? What did you think of it? (Feel free to write a long answer, I'd like to place it in the "Points Of View" section of the review.) I thought my episode was very cool, I loved being a part of the show, I use that scene on my reel. It rocks !! I thought they should use my character all the time kind of what Huggy Bear was to Starsky and Hutch, I could be to Angel, like the informant on the street. >10. Have you read through our site? What do you think of it? I have not seen the sight but I promise I will check it out!!
