   The phrase ''You can't shout fire in a crowded theatre.'' is a common expression to denote the limits of free speech under U.S. constitutional law.
   
   
2. Cordelia: ''One day, I might, yes, many years from now, when I've lost my looks a little. Do not laugh.''
   The play Cordelia is in is A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen, written in 1879. Cordelia is playing the part of Nora Helmer. It has been made into a film many times, most recently in 1991. Plot: Nora Helmer has years earlier committed a forgery in order to save the life of her authoritarian husband Torvald. Now she is being blackmailed lives in fear of her husband's finding out and of the shame such a revelation would bring to his career.    Angel: ''Frank Langella was the only performance I believed but...''
   Bela Lugosi (1882-1956) played the part of the vampire Count Dracula in the 1931 film Dracula, which is probably the most famous rendition of Dracula in history. He became known for the roll and played Dracula numerous times including the 1948 comedy Abbott And Costello Meet Frankenstein.
   
   
   Gary Oldman played the part of the vampire Count Dracula in the 1992 film Dracula. An interesting bit of trivia is that regular watchers of Buffy heard him in the episode Lover's Walk, he was the guy singing My Way on Spike's radio as he left town!
   
   
   Frank Langella played the part of the vampire Count Dracula in the 1979 film Dracula. One of his recent works is the 1998 film Small Soldiers, where he supplied a voice to Archer along side Buffy's Sarah Michelle Gellar.

    A latte is an espresso coffee topped with steamed frothed milk. Espresso is a brewing process by which the classic, dark-roasted cup of black coffee, full-bodied but aromatic, is made, and it is possibly the most difficult and potentially the most expensive way to make coffee. The word ''espresso'' derives from the Italian verb meaning ''to put under pressure,'' and that is exactly how the coffee is made. Boiling water and steam are forced through very finely ground coffee, preferably one without too much acidity, to produce a unique style of coffee with bite and great persistence on the palate.     Champagne is a sparkling white wine, traditionally made from a mixture of grapes grown in the old French province of Champagne; the best is from the Marne valley. It was reputedly developed in the 17th cent. by a monk, Dom Perignon. The fermented and blended wine is bottled, then sweetened and allowed to ferment further.     This is probably a reference to the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, where the Wicked Witch of the West was melted by being splashed with water. This film was referenced in What's My Line Part 2 by Xander, in The Pack by Buffy, and by Amilyn in Buffy The Vampire Slayer.    The Prodigal - It was revealed Angel was born in 1727, making him about 273 years old, not counting the years he spent in hell.

   Cordelia: ''Hey, you weren't around the last time Angel went mental. I, on the other hand, was on the first wave of the clean-up crew. He knows perfect happiness, he goes evil. So don't tell me not to worry.''
   Innocence - Cordelia is probably referring to the time she had to clean up after destroying the Judge, who Angel joined up with right after losing his soul.
   
   
7. Wesley: ''Angel's moment of true happiness occurred because he was with Buffy.''
   Surprise - Angel got happy when he had sex with Buffy Summers after they lost fighting the Judge and hid at his place.
   
   
8. Rebecca: ''Cordelia says you've saved the world.''
   Angel: ''Couple times I helped.''
   Angel helped save the world in The Harvest, Prophecy Girl and The Zeppo.

1. When Angel first glances at the car it has a huge cloud of exhaust coming out of the tail pipe, the camera is away for less them a second, then returns to show no exhaust behind the car.
   
   
2. When Angel opens the door into the alley, you can see his reflection in the surface of the door, even though he is a vampire and should cast no reflection.

Mathew:

A little slow and predictable. Not too much excitement. It was good to see Cordelia stand up to Angel. One thing I dislike is the habit started by fans and now being used on the show of calling evil Angel Angelus. It's the same guy! Oh well.
